On the edge of the merchant city near to both mainline stations, this is a decent stopping point. Rooms reasonable size and appointment. Public areas a bit on the small side, but there is a bar and small lounge area. Breakfast is adequate choice and good quality. Watch the prices which can be a bit high for 3* type hotels,...

Hi thewanderer2016, Good to hear you found us reasonable value and enjoyed the location. The prices in Glasgow have risen steadily over the last 2-3 years at the same time demand has increased for the city in general (its quite a trendy travel destination globally at the moment). As most hotels these days are demand based pricing (like airlines) the...

The entrance is quite modern. The location is fabulous. The rooms are tiny, dated and in dire need of an upgrade. That being said they are clean and have everything you need. I was in a double by myself. I don't know how we would have coped if there had been two of us. The staff are very friendly though...

Hi Tina C, Thanks for your review and I think you enjoyed your stay which is great. Great to hear you enjoyed the food and found the team friendly, I'm sure they will enjoy your comments. We are an older style hotel hence the smaller rooms, we do have some privilege rooms available that are bigger (but they are more...

Have just returned from a two night stay in this hotel. Ideal location just off George Square. Was a bit worried when I read previous reviews regarding the noise surrounding this hotel as there is a casino next door but this was not a problem at all. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty to choose from....

Excellent location close to shops restaurants and bars. Good value for money. Breakfast was fab one of the best ever! Room was fairly small but perfect for a City Break when you are hardly in your room. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Glasgow.

We stayed at the hotel two nights 11/12 December. Having spent a week in Helensburgh we did find the room on the small side as we had 2 suitcases. Like other reviews, there was very little room around the bed but initially, on the third floor the room appeared quiet, until 10.30 when a party seemed to be taking place...

We stayed here for a Friday and Saturday night. Arrival fine, parking close by in a multi storey which is subsidised by the hotel. The location is perfect, right by St Georges square in the heart of the city. Sadly this is where the positives end. We first went to a room on the second floor but as soon as...

Hi macca28, I am really sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. It sounds as though we tried to help you find a quieter room but were not successful, the hotel was very busy on the Friday & Saturday so there was a limited amount of rooms for you to choose from. The lift noise to some of the...

I did not stay in the hotel overnight but we had our office Christmas night out here. It was Hollywood themed and was quite good. The meal was OK considering there were a lot of others there. There was tomato and pesto soup for starter which was very tasty. The main course of turkey and all the trimmings was also good...
