Hotel is old and tired looking, is in desperate need of refurbishment. Not the best breakfast selection and I moved hotels after one night, it was loud, cold, drafty and the trim in the room was worse than a travel lodge. Good central city location though

Stayed here on business. Check in really efficient and staff very friendly. Great location in heart of Glasgow and handy for bars, restaurants and shops. Rooms pretty shabby but ok for a one night stay. Restaurant bar area tiny. Evening meal and breakfast both average.

The hotel is in a great location in Glasgow: for the shops by day, and the bars at night. Staff are very friendly and recognise returning customers which adds a personal spin to the experience. The bar service is prompt, food service is quick, with the quality of food excellent. The rooms are clean. I can not fault the service...

The Mercure is in a great spot - close to a Sainsbury's Local, Buchanan St and stations. The staff are friendly and helpful and Twinings Tea is provided in the rooms (I'm a tea snob). It has provided everything I needed during my stay in Glasgow and if I return I will stay again.

This is a great location for Glasgow central, but sadly the rooms are a bit dated and in need of an upgrade. Spotlessly clean with all the comforts one would expect from the Accor hotel chain. the rooms, certainly the room I had, 114 was excellent, with lots of space and well equipped with coffee machine and kettle etc, bath...
