This hotel was exactly how I imagined Hilton hotels to be; it was really luxurious and the staff were incredibly helpful! I ordered room service and the food was delicious, as was breakfast. A lot of Hilton's are now a bit dated but after seeing this hotel it's clear they're investing in the future!
I attended the Hilton Glasgow (William Street) with my Husband today (16/9/21) to use the leisure facilities & have afternoon tea. I honestly don’t have enough words to describe the incredible experience we had today. On arrival the lady on reception was so welcoming & very informative. Leisure department again welcoming & helpful. Leisure facilities excellent & felt very relaxed. On to afternoon tea. Myself & my Husband are Vegan - Best Afternoon tea we have ever had! The food & choice of teas were exceptional. The staff in the tea lounge couldn’t do enough, friendly, very attentive & took an interest in us as people & made great tea recommendations. Today was just a lovely lift of spirits after Covid restrictions. Myself & my Husband can’t wait to come back for another visit & have already recommended this hotel to our friends & family. Thank you Glasgow William Street for a lovely day. Blown away with the service, food & care shown by staff. It was very much appreciated more than you know. See you again in the near future.…
We had previously chosen a room when we booked at the Hotel, so we were aware of the Hotels amenities. WE had arrived early, but were able to have our room straight away. The room was on the 18th floor and the views to the West were spectacular, especially at night. The room was spotless and settled in easily to the facilities. With a King Executive room, we had the facility of the Exec Lounge from 5pm to 7pm, where complimentary drinks and nibbles, including lovely beef platters and others dishes, but you could also have various meals for the menu at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was to die for..!! Special mention for Shannon on Reception, who organised a good rate for our return for my Birthday in March and Lazaros who advised I call him when we will arrive to have something special in our room. This Hotel has now been upgraded to our second home..!!…
Recently stayed here for a business function and frankly can't fault the place ... rooms excellent staff attentive and very courteous and for a function of over 400 people the food was absolutely superb . More than happy to recommend ...the hotel is situated near all routes including the city centre .
Arrived by car and used their underground car parking for £15 per night. Our room was a king room, very spacious with large comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities, safe, iron, fridge and large TV. The shower room was a good size too. The room was spotless and was refurbished recently. We had drinks in the bar but was disappointing that they had run out of Guinness. Would be nice if they had a real ale choice. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of variety and good quality hot breakfast items. Service was excellent too. We definitely will be returning.
A recent upgrade has been very successful. A very warm greeting from the reception team. A reception area that was 5 star. It just looked so comfortable and wecoming like 5star hotels used to be. Newly relayed driveway to the front door and car park underneath. Bedroom fantastic, bathroom fantastic, best nights sleep in a Hotel for many a year. Breakfast was excellent and the Edinburgh bar staff shipped in to cover last night were fantastic, very cheery group. All in all a fantastic stay.
The staff at Hilton Glasgow was great, very welcoming and helpful. The pool area is worth booking for during your stay, the water was warm and even enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The hotel is beautiful and rooms very comfortable. Well done Hilton Glasgow team :)
I recently stayed in the Hilton Glasgow as an early birthday treat. The stay, start to finish, was absolutely incredible. I booked a massage in the spa on site. The facilities were amazing and the staff wonderful. The massage was absolutely fab. I would highly recommend booking a treatment- you won’t be disappointed. We stayed in the McDonald Suite on the 20th floor. The room was absolutely gorgeous and I loved the views. We had access to the executive lounge and really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and lovely decor. We spent our evening in the bar with a few friends, it was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated that you can easily walk into the city or West End. Wonderful stay, gorgeous environment, lovely staff. Fantastic birthday treat.
Arrived at the hotel and cot was not in room. We arrived after midnight so this was very awkward and rather than transferring our baby meant a very disruptive start for our first night. Then told we would have to pay to use the pool. It says these details were sent with booking confirmation. We checked…this is not mentioned anywhere so really felt like false advertising. I have never had this experience before and have stayed st many Hilton hotels around the world. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel rather than others was for swimming for the kids. It is not only very expensive £10 per head) it requires booking for a limited slot for which no process was explained. Also advertised as electric charging which is in the car park. Only the space was far smaller than the car and once I had managed to finally make the car charge (some cables did not work) I realised I was covered on black grease from the machine which had ruined my clothes. I had to go back and remove the car from charging as where we parked the space was so small it was a crash hazard. So arriving at midnight and by the time cot was done and put car in a safe place we were looking at 3am. Awful experience! Room was nice and clean but with this start very difficult to give anything other than a poor review.…
Stayed at this hotel many times it’s now recently refurbished to a very high standard indeed ..great staff great rooms really good value more than happy to recommend. Situated centre glasgow with good access to the city and motorway. I was at a charity function for over 400 guests and the food was of an extremely high standard. The room was excellent with terrific views over vibrant Glasgow.
