My wife and I stopped here for a mid week break and found the Premier Inn to be very good. The location is excellent and only a short 5 min walk from Grand Central Station and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving us advise about the local area and amenities. The breakfast was also very good with... More

We stayed for one night in a double zip link room on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and tidy, with a kettle and some tea bags, mugs and glasses available for us to use. The bathroom was spotless and clean linen provided. Outside noise was minimal with the windows closed and room was of perfect temperature, we didn't... More

The hotel was in a good location, 10 minute walk from the centre and 15 minutes from the 02 Academy which is why we were there. Other than that, horrible. The staff were nice enough, but the hotel needs a complete refurb, peeling wallpaper, paintwork all cracked, horrid ceiling tiles, claustrophobic hallways and rooms. Shabby ceiling tiles. The list is... More

Staff friendly and rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty to choose from and included fruit. The Premier Inn is situated in the centre of Glasgow on Argyll street and is ideal for going shopping or going out for night entertainment.

Stayed here for one night and was not disappointed especially with the great room rate to start. Everything you need at a great price! There was no hairdryer in the room but it said they were currently upgrading and the reception were only too happy to loan hair dryers out. Although another guest pointed out its been like that for... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay and I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews. The hotel is a 5min walk from Glasgow Central station. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and our room on the third floor and was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was... More

I'm a great fan of Premier Inns but this one is looking very tired. What we liked was the same friendly staff and good breakfast that you get at other Premier Inns. Unfortunately the rooms, beds and public areas are in need of modernisation. The location is a bit on the edge too.

Booked this room over 3 months in advance, traveled 5 hours in a coach, got to the Orel to be told me and my friends couldn't have the room as there was 3 of us. We've stayed at two other premier inn's in Newcastle and Leeds and stayed together in the same room. One woman basically told us to separate... More
