Been to this hotel countless times, both for a meal and stay over... Food is amazing, atmosphere is chilled and staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Near all necessarily amenities, train station across the road and 2 minute walk from all other pubs and takeaways... Favourite date night spot!

My only criticism was the road noise and a fire door, which was below our room, was obviously being used and did disturb us. However, I would stay again. Breakfast lovely, Evening meal was tasty and a varied menu, which did incorporate... More

We arrived and checked in swiftly, very spacious room right on the front and was clean. On exiting the room the door closer was too efficient slamming the door unexpectedly into my arm which did hurt as heavy wooden door. The bar prices were unexpectedly reasonable for a hotel so I was impressed and the service was outstanding. We had... More

I chose this hotel for many reasons, firstly it was close to Glasgow, secondly its centrally located for my engineers and thirdly it's looked great and fabulously priced. I booked bed and breakfast in a double room as my girlfriend joined me for this short visit. The staff gave a very warm welcome and even gave us our room early... More

We stayed in the Redstones in June for a family party. As a former local, I was quite surprised how much the hotel had changed since I last enjoyed a Sunday drink there (in 1974) with my school mates. That bar area is now part of the dining room, and we were able to enjoy breakfast in the same bay... More
