Location, location, location, this hotel has it and much more. Some have said it's difficult to find; it isn't as long as you look up for the hotel sign. 60 seconds from Union Street exit off Glasgow Central train station. Great reception, great staff, great freebies, great freshly ground coffee and great room. Yes you can hear your ensuite flushing...

I just love it when you stay in a hotel which seems to have been designed or is run by someone who has the same "must have" ideas as you do. So for me that means being able to open the window and get some fresh air - no constant air con droning thank you. Fresh milk to make tea...

Stayed at the Grasshopper Hotel on several occasions and never been disappointed. Location is excellent and staff are courteous with nothing being a problem whatsoever. Breakfast very good and self service with cakes and coffee/tea provided all day free of charge which you could either drink in the lounge or take back to your room. Our train home was at...

Checked in here on 15th Feb for a 3 night city break. Have only travelled from East Lothian but chose the hotel because of excellent reviews and location. You can't really get more central. Whilst there's lots of hustle and bustle outsid, it is amazingly quiet inside. The room was lovely and bright. Spotlessly clean and the bed was very...

Not worth £80 a night, rooms were very basic, and not clean. Rooms are very very dusty and didn't look as if the floor had been mopped at all. Bed was plane white and had no character whatsoever. The corridors were lovely with free ice cream and cakes which was the only good thing. When we were greeted to check in I...

A nice touch was the home made ice cream cookies and cupcakes which all of us sampled they were delicious! Our room was fresh and clean very comfy bed and good shower. Being right...

Booked this as a surprise night away for my wife. Easy to get to - out the side door of Central Station turn right and right again. The hotel is situated on the 6th-floor of a ScotRail building - lifts to get to it or you can walk up 6-floors if you want to get fit! We were given a...

This is a wonderful little hotel. The staff are friendly and the whole hotel has a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are small but well appointed and the breakfast was delicious. If you are looking for a centrally located hotel in Glasgow I can not recommend this highly enough.

This is not the first time I have stayed here and it definitely won't be the last. From the minute you arrive you getting a welcoming feeling. The hotel is modern, clean and friendly. As a female traveling on her own I have never felt uncomfortable eating in The Kitchen on my own as the staff are all so friendly....

Situated right next to Central Station ideal location if catching the train or a short walk from the car park which you can stop in at a discounted rate if staying at the Grasshoppers... From outside it doesn't look much but once you step in the lift to the 6th floor you are greeted with free cupcakes and fresh baked...
