Hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fab, a great selection of items. Good location for getting around the city near to the stations and shops and visiting the attractions.

The most attractive point of the hotel is that it is situated next to Glasgow Central, making it an ideal base for those who are staying overnight to catch a train out of town the next day. In terms of the hotel itself, the room is decent, and the breakfast option is reasonable. For a one-night stay, there isn't much...

I stayed in this hotel as friends had recommend it, purely for it's location, which I have to say is fabulous for Glasgow city centre, nightlife and it's closeness to central station. The staff although polite and pleasant enough were obviously just doing a job, no smiley faces or cheery greetings. The hotel itself is a large rabbit warren of...

When we arrived the reception seems very old fashioned and dismal.however after check in we found the hotel to be very clean, functionable and the rooms are of a good quality. Everything you need for a stay, there is plenty of hot water and the rooms are warm. We had a problem on the first night with a terrible mattress...

Great location a couple of minutes from Central Station. We were here for a night out in Glasgow and the hotel is so close to pubs, restaurants it's ideal. Rooms were clean, comfortable and the breakfast was great. Really great value for money!

This is a real gem in the heart of Scotland. Found it on the internet and booked then and there. A stone's throw from Glasgow Central Station and about a five to seven minute walk to Glasgow Queen Street station. Close to good shops and the River Clyde. Room was large and most comfortable. The breakfast buffet was probably the...

This was my first trip to Glasgow so I was unfamiliar with the area. This was a weekend break with a friend and we were looking for a budget hotel in a central Glasgow location. The hotel does not look very appealing from the outside but once you have entered, very different!!! Very quirky decor - bits of everything sort...

I stayed one night for business. The location was great for using the shuttle bus to the airport and into town for dinner. The staff were great: really friendly and helpful when I twice needed help with silly things (e.g. TV not working - turned out to be user error). My room was compact and my bathroom even more so....

I have previously given this hotel a good review but our latest experience was terrible. I had booked the hotel through Gala Hotels months before. At around 5pm we received a phone call to the room from the reception asking my husband to verify his surname. They said the room was booked out to someone with the same surname. This...
