Visited here 2 years ago and back again for a visit to Scotland. Must say that although it is still a good location, it is showing small signs of wear. However, this does not detract from the price and location and we are satisfied. Parking is validated at the car park across the road. Quite tight though in some parking...

Had booked a family room months in advance. When booking we had requested one of the larger family rooms at the front as we were travelling with two older children and had extra luggage. On arrival I was told this might not be possible to be allocated one of these rooms, possibly due to a large wedding party also staying?...

Great place for a weekend away, close to pubs, clubs shopping etc. Price could have been better had I have booked further in advance, but not to bad. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and cooked perfectly. Great start to the day.

Inexpensive hotel in a central location just up the street from train/bus stations. The hotel was clean, bed comfortable though would have preferred a minimum of a queen as the double seemed small. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was too warm despite the thermostat to change the room temperature, which seemed ineffective. The noise from the street...

We have stayed here on numerous occasions with no concerns. This time was different the staff were pleasant but the room was not up to the standard you expect. The extractor fan sounded like a 747 taking off every time you used the bathroom no chance for a relaxing bath even if we had enough towels I know they are...
