The place itself is majestic, Just a stones throw from myself and my partners favourite place in Glasgow, Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Was slightly late upon arrival, As soon as we walked through the door a well dressed and extremely polite man greeted us and showed us around. Each thing you looked at was more impressive than the last and the...

Our room 2 was large, comfortable and quiet. We slept better than at home. The bathroom and shower were the best we have ever had anywhere. Breakfast with many choices for fruit, cereals, juice, yogurt as well as eggs, bacon, even vegetarian sausage and haggis. The location is next to Kevin Grove Park, close to the museum and Glasgow University,...

We stayed for one night and would certainly go back. Emma welcomed us warmly even though we arrived a bit early. On street parking was easy and cheap and we just walked back and forth into the centre of Glasgow from the guest house. The room was beautiful, clean, warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast- great views over...

My partner and I stayed at the Alamo and were extremely impressed by the cleanliness and and attention to detail that had gone into each of the rooms. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the personal welcome on arrival exemplary. We visited for a concert and on arrival back at the hotel late at night I realised we had no...

As for breakfast, it was very good, and you couldn't wish for anything more. Everyone at the B&B was very friendly, as were...

I visited just this week and as a veteran of many B and B's both here and in the US have to give the Alamo an excellent grade for a great overall experience. The room was large and the bed very comfy. Emma made sure we had everything we needed and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order. No complaints...

We stayed 3 nights at this most excellent B&B - we arrived in the morning after a 26 hour flight, and the landlady was kind enough to allow us to check in early and get a few hours sleep, and a bit of breakfast - for which we were most grateful. Set in the West End, with a great location...
