As I say in the title, it really depends how fussy you are. The positives first, the location is great, free parking, large rooms and a reasonable price. And now some negatives, the place could do with some investment in new decor, carpets, and fixture and fittings. But in the scheme of things if you want a polished modern hotel,...

Got to the hotel on Buckingham Terrace to be told that they were full and that I wasn't booked in. The guy then phoned his boss to try to find out what was happening but she didn't answer. Eventually he realised that I must be in the self catering flat, which according to him was 'just past the next set...

We had a one night stop over here and it is in a good location for a quick trip to Glasgow. In a good location for Byres Road near the university and an area of lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shops. The room was large, spacious and clean. The shower room was rather basic. It was a bit noise...

The room was clean but very narrow single beds, a bit smelly and poor shower. Breakfast was poor, dry croissants, no cooked breakfast. Great location and nice building. spoiled by rude and unfriendly man who took our credit card away out of sight and who embarrassed us when we arrived for breakfast 10 minutes before the end of the allotted...

First impressions were good, warm welcome and easy check in. The room itself, number 6, next to the back door was nice and warm, clean and tidy. The bathroom was likewise, clean and tidy. Furniture and fittings could do with replacing but these were functional. The mattress on the double bed was the most uncomfortable, I have ever slept on...

Where to start? Perhaps the worst thing was the disgusting soap in the dispenser in the shower - it was rancid, or, the strange smell in the basement room with the threadbare carpet, stained sheet and shower head held on to its rail by a cable tie. The advertised parking only works if you are last in and first out,...

I had a lovely over night stay in the above hotel, It was very central and i had a single room in the basement floor room. It was small and compact and had everything i needed including an en-suite shower. There was people noise from passersby walking and talking it, but this was not noisy for a Thursday night. My...
