I booked a double en suite room that was meant to have had a double bed, sofa fireplace, wardrobe. On arrival I was greeted by a very rude little man who I had woken from his afternoon nap dressed in stocking soles with his big toe sticking through, to be informed they didn't accept cards so had to roam the streets looking...

Guest house wasn't too bad in term of finding it, parking, the room was clean and good night sleep but the service was a lot to be desired. Was greeted by the man that has mentioned in lots of reviews who was very chatty however like many other reviews we were told he card machine was "broken" having to pay...

This is a very nice guest house; open 24 hours. It is situated walking distance from Glasgow Cathedral; very clean and cosy, with big rooms, good value for many. Highly recommend for long or short stay.

Booked a double en-suite for two nights , arrived in a rush as was visiting my son in hospital to be greeted by a man with no shoes on and food all down his clothes wasn't the best start. He told we only have a single I told him I booked a double en-suite I need my own bathroom for...

I've stayed here twice for a couple of nights each time. The place is quiet, convenient and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is whatever you want and is good. John, the long tern manager, is friendly and helpful. Just a word: the "card machine is broken" is clearly a means to avoid either paying tax or credit card fees- reviews on other...

It was a comfortable room but I was really annoyed when I went to pay. I'd been told on arrival that the card machine was 'broken', I said I'd have to pay later as I don't carry that amount of cash. Seemed to be a clean room. The following morning I gave £55 cash (room was £54), guys says 'I...

Really nice room for the price, very comfy and clean and with decent facilities. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and allowed me to pick up my key early so I could come home late from a wedding, as well as letting me keep my car there well beyond check-out time.

We had booked the Onslow Guest House to attend a concert at Hampden Park. Booked through 'booking.com'. We called him up the day before to ask if we could 'dump' our stuff there around 9am and have a key to the room, so we didn't disturb anyone late that night ( we didn't need access to the room at 9am)....

Not actually stayed here, just phoned to book a room as this Guest House is very close to where we need to be and will probably be in this area quite a bit over the next few years. Unfortunately the man I spoke to was really rude, because of this I will not be staying here this time or in...
