When I arrived the place was taken over by a new owner. I stayed here for 2 weeks and it's a great base to explore the region. What ever trouble I had, she gave me some advice to solve the problem. She's very friendly and helpful. She was like a mother to me.

My wife and two adults daughters arrived a bit earlier than check in on 8th September. We received a warm welcome and our rooms were ready. The house is lovely and warm. It has that welcoming feeling that makes you feel you belong. Our host who had just taken over the buisiness was also warm, welcoming and efficient. The rooms...

This was our second stop on our trip to tour Scotland. We were so glad we stopped south of Inverness and didn't have to cope with city traffic after a long and tiring journey. There were 3 couples in our party and each of us received a lovely welcome and a beautiful well-equipped room, all of which were spotlessly clean...

Down a track,ok to get to in daylight but not after Dark! Midges everywhere, room quite small and overpowering air freshners smell-beware asthmatics! Shower tiny, water takes ages to come through warm. Beds comfy, small basic TV, not able to have windows open because of midges- that's what you get out in the country!, wi fi poor.breakfast really good.

We only stayed one night but we we're happy with the location and the tranquility of the guest house. There is a walk nearby that you can do and of course Tomatin distillery. You get a good breakfast which is cooked to your preference. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed.

Received a warm welcome here. Lovely views from the front of the house and it is a very quiet location. Room was comfortable with the usual facilities. Wi-fi did not appear to work in room but did int lounge and dining room. Good choice for breakfast and freshly cooked. Enjoyable and comfortable stay.

In the heart of the Highlands, equidistant between Aviemore & Inverness and just behind the distillery. There are two routes in: the one signposted for the lodge is a track full of potholes (large!!!). A lovely tranquil area, the lodge is cosy (considering its location), with separate lounge & dining areas on the ground floor. Its only downfall at the...

A small country guest house set in a quiet and restful location on the westerly side of the River Findhorn valley and close to the Tomatin Distillery. Readily accessible from the A9: (the road through the distillery is in better repair than the signposted alternative). The comfortable rooms are traditionally furnished and breakfasts will see you through the day. Bedrooms...

This is the second time that I have stayed at Glenan Lodge in the past year and I can see that there is no way now that I will stay anywhere else whenever I'm in the area. I just love the food - the breakfast is to die for and served fresh from the kitchen. The dining room is oh so...

Loved, loved, loved staying here. We had the "superior Double" on the second floor, with a very comfortable large bed, a nice couch and coffee table in a sitting area in front of the windows, and lots of space to unpack and stretch out. The bathroom was clean, light, airy, and efficient. Loved having a nice window in the bathroom....
