We stayed here for 2 nights and could have easily stayed longer. There's so much to do in the area and the campsite is a good size, not too big. Shower block was very clean, warm and hot showers. Was a bit of a walk from our pitch but that's what happens when you only book an hour before your...

Our first visit to this site for a 4 night stay. On arrival we were made very welcome by the site wardens and directed to our pitch. The site is quite large and beautifully set in the edge of the forest, our pitch was large and flat hardstanding gravel, reasonably level. We were given 2 key cards for the toilet...

Took us at short notice, as we were touring around and we weren't disappointed. Excellent site, excellent facilities, superb log cabin style shower block. Camped in the forest on the banks of the river, stunning setting, very peaceful and relaxing. Will return, would recommend, and they even sorted out gas problem out at 8pm!! Thanks!!

Great campsite- lovely spacious pitches with electric hook ups. Facilities were spot on- big shower cubicals, plenty of hot water and really clean. Good location for Aviemore and Cairngorms. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, and happy to book us in without a prior booking five minutes before they closed. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights at the end of September at a cost of £33/night, which seemed a little steep but having never camped before, I had nothing to compare the price to. We arrived after an 8 hour drive to a warm welcome and was advised about the different camping locations; having read on a previous post, the "island"...

Quiet campsite amongst the trees. Facilities are clean and well maintained, friendly staff. Walking distance to Aviemore and a short drive to Cairngorm. Try the highland beef steaks from the estate shop nearby.

It certainly is a lovely place and close to Cairngorm and only 5 minutes to Aviemore for supplies. However the site was full on arrival and the pitch we were given for our small 2 berth caravan was too short and narrow, despite having been asked for the caravan length on booking.. We have caravanned for many years and siting...

I was very disappointed and quite angry with rothiemurchus camp and caravan site! I am an outdoor instructor working down at Coylumbridge with a school group during the week and needed somewhere to stay this weekend. So I went to Rothiemurchus campsite and tried to book in on Friday afternoon with my friend who decided to come up for the...

We camped here for 2 nights in early September 2016 at a cost of £22 per night. We travelled from Newcastle so it took around 6.5 hours to drive as we hit bad traffic near Edinburgh due to the Forth bridge repairs/road works. We arrived at the site just in time to check in and with just about enough daylight...

We know Rothiemurchus well but this is the first time we had camped here. We loved it...not too busy and great toilet blocks with wonderful showers. It's an easy walk or cycle into Aviemore along the Old Logging Way and there a multitude of lovely walks in the area. You can walk straight out from the campsite and walk to...
