During new years we, a group of 9 people, stayed over in three Badaguish wigwams. It was a great experience! The wigwams were much larger than we expected, you can easily sleep with 4 people in 1 wigwam, and the shared facilities were clean and warm. We had a great time and

Currently staying in a wigwam. It’s not a wigwam. It’s an upmarket garden shed. My partner is disabled. It’s too far, and ground too unstable. Surrounded by posh chalets and this feels more like a lesson on being poor. Very disappointed, travelled 700 miles for this. It’s

Response from Badaguish, Manager at Badaguish Wigwam & Campsite

Our sincere apologies your stay at Badaguish did not meet your expectation. Badaguish is a Charity that provides a broad range of affordable accommodation for individuals, groups and families which help to fund our Respite Centre offering Outdoor breaks for young adults and children with additional support needs. The Respite Centre was closed over Christmas and the chalets occupied by families enjoying the incredible location and environment. Three 3 of the lodges are 17 bed offering youth accommodation from as little as £16 per person per night. The Wigwams although equipped with a heater, sockets, fridge and kettle are advertised as basic sheltered accommodation (not clamping) and are supported by two fully equipped centrally located kitchens and 3 large “fully accessible” shower block facilities. Two blocks where closed of at Christmas as we only had 2-3 occupied wigwams on site. Badaguish hosts a broad range of, families, groups, charities and organisation throughout the year who can access the unique environment and enjoy a supported outdoor holiday. The busy respite team and support volunteers work tirelessly to provide the best possible Service to our guests and we are always striving to improve our facilities and guest experience where possible. The wigwam details, photographs, sitemap and environment details are clearly included in the website and booking information. Staff are always willing to advise and support your stay in every way possible and we apologise if you overlooked this.

Larger than expected, plenty of room for us and our 11-year-old daughter. Linen package provided excellent sleeping bags for a cold weekend. Comfy beds. Tricky not having running water, or crockery/cutlery although there was a kettle. Not many toilets but the ones near reception

Our wigwam was very cosy and very comfortable. The site staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful with our questions. Our wigwam was quite a bit away from the toilet block and with the bad weather the staff had kindly placed portaloos near our wigwams. As kind as this

Sad to be leaving Badaguish today. It is a fantastic base for those who are into outdoor activities as it is an easy walk or very quick car ride to local attractions and outdoor activities. This is our second time here this year and staying in the wigwams and it is perfect.
