We stayed at hillside lodge for 2 nights after a tour of Scotland. It was definitely the best place we stayed and the stakes were already high. Maggie was friendly and welcoming and the room was so luxurious. Amazing bed, bath, shower, view. Everything. Breakfast was fantastic too and she even gave me her pancake recipes. Would definitely stay again.

We used the Hillside Lodge as our weekend Aviemore base and it was ideal! Situated at the far end of the town its set in a great location with lovely views of the Cairngorms and about a 25 minute walk in to town. Maggie is a terrific host, incredibly welcoming and her home is just immaculate with everything you need....

Maggie gives you the warmest of welcomes into her fabulous home. Our room was stunning, huge with an en suite bath and shower. The bed was the most comfortable ever with the most sublime linen. Nothing is left to chance, the room was equipped with everything you could need for your stay, including a set of hair straightners. The views...

We booked in for a week at the Hillside Lodge and out of the six establishments we stayed at during our trip, this was by far the best. The welcome from Maggie, the owner, was very warm, she is a fantastic host and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was bright, spacious and extremely comfortable; the whole place was...

We had a very warm welcome by Maggie that showed us the lovely room and helped us out about what to do and where to eat. The breakfast was amazing, full of options and scottish berries. And the eggs with smoked salmon amazing. It was a lovely stay. Thank you Maggie for making us feel at home.

The accommodation is luxurious with fantastic facilities and stunning views of the cairngorms directly from the bedroom. The bedroom room (and living room/ dining room) were spotlessly clean Breakfast was wonderful but most of all the owner was so friendly and helpful it was a home from home. Although near the A9 there was very little noise to be heard...

I am not writing this review with much b&b experience, but I can safely say that if they are all as amazing as the Aviemore Hillside Lodge I will be staying at them far more frequently. I stayed here with my girlfriend, we are a young couple from London who were looking for a relaxing break from the hustle and...

The owner was very warm and welcoming. She did more than was expected. The lodge was high quality as was the breakfast and quality of service. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Will definitely be back again.

Just back from an overnight stay here. What a lovely b&b! Our host, Maggie, couldn't have been nicer and the rooms were immaculate. There was a great choice for breakfast too. I really can't say enough about how lovely Maggie was, she gave us a fantastic reception when we got there and was standing on the doorstep waving us off...
