Romantic break with my husband - we have never been so well cared for. Every tiny detail was covered. - we were totally spoiled - thanks Sheila I hope you will be there for many years. Room was perfect, breakfast was the best we have ever had.

This b+b has a five star rating from the STB - because it ticks boxes - comfortable rooms, luxury toiletries, expensive tea bags, complimentary ipad in the lounge for guest use etc.... BUT, the atmosphere created by the owner is uncomfortable and one feels the need to tread so carefully. We would suggest that Naomi (who is the breakfast waitress)...

Could have been a five star. But unfortunately not. My boyfriend and I went to Aviemore for a wee romantic break, and it was just beautiful. There's no place like it. But to get to the point: The Old Minister's House is in itself, very beautiful and cosy. However there is absolutely no avoiding the horrible rudeness of the woman...

Well where to start...I decided to book a weekend away in Aviemore one weekend in August. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of accommodation as I did leave it till the Wednesday before to book but I came across this five star B&B just about a mile outside of Aviemore itself and at the foot of the Cairngorm...

What a lovely place to stay. The most comfortable bed ever! Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Extra personal touches were much appreciated and made us feel at home. Lovely breakfast and information on sights to see. Great recommendation for dinner also. Thank you.

We were only able to reserve three nights at this wonderful Michelin rated accommodation because we did not book enough in advance. We were totally enchanted with the room which was decorated in heather-toned tweed and tartan accented with purple velvet trim and pillows. Our room was near the lounge which was also cozy, equipped with a no-host bar and...

The Old Ministers House is a gorgeous place to stay just a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of Aviemore. Its very clean and tidy, I saw 4 of the rooms and they were all wonderful and all finished off with a touch of tartan here and there. Also the room has a selection of teas, coffees, bath...

I'd read Tripadvisor before we went, so I knew what to expect. Believe me, it's all true; the accommodation is classy, the service razor-sharp - especially from Naomi, the sweetest maid/ waitress I've ever met. The place is immaculate, with everything just so and naturally, things like that just don't happen on their own. Shelagh and her team are beavering...

We just spent two nights at The Old Minister's House and absolutely loved it. This was our second visit, first being 2 years ago. Shelagh is a wonderful host with exceptional standards. The moment you step into this B&B you know its luxurious, tastefully furnished and impeccably clean (very important). Our room was on the ground floor next to lounge...

This is an outstanding little guest house near the busy tourist resort that is Aviemore, Situated near a running stream the owners have established a peaceful atmosphere and comfortable accommodation that is the envy of many guest houses in the locality and elsewhere. We had been on a touring trip around Scotland visiting many places and found this location to...
