We visited the Tomich Hotel for dinner on a recommendation from the lady in the local shop and I am so pleased we went. In fact in 5 days we ventured to the hotel twice for some yummy food. The staff were very welcoming and really looked after us and the food was very good indeed. We were out of...

The hotel was welcoming, the room very comfortable and the village was quiet, an ideal place to relax and recharge your life. Great walks - really enjoyed Plodda Falls and the walk round Dog Falls had great views. We were fortunate in the weather, cannot always guarantee dry weather in March. T he staff at the hotel were very friendly...

Let's start with the place: It is a delightfully isolated victorian cottage, with a river in the back yard. A good place to start right? For travelers on a budget such as me and my better half, it is also conveniently located right in front of the post office. And that means the bus stops at the door. At. The....

Hello Ivo B, Thank you for such a nice review and it was a pleasure welcoming you and having you to stay with us. Perhaps one day we may see you again before you head back to Portugal. Hope the journey back to Aberdeenshire went smoothly with the bikes and you are both doing plenty of practicing. Jackie and Bernard

We stayed in the annexe across from the main building. The room was decorated and finished to a delightfully high standard. Breakfast was made to order and was very good. Dinner was served in various sections of the pub and was interesting. The menu was not comprehensive. The atmosphere around the pub was ok. The place is set in a...

I have visited the Tomich Hotel on multiple occasions and have always received a very warm welcome. Things were no different this time. While checking for the postal address ahead of my latest visit I read a very negative review of the hotel and Bernard the owner. I feel it is important to say that I simply don't recognise that...

We initially booked for one night in Sept then extended to two and then again the four nights. Wish we could stay longer. What a little gem this place it. Very comfortable room – although towel radiator in our bathroom had a known issue and didn’t heat up. The food is excellent. Check out the real ale at the bar...

We stayed here for one night as my partner had booked it as a birthday surprise. The location was perfect and the hotel was charming. The service was excellent and the owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. In the evening we relaxed in the cosy front lounge with drinks and then moved through to the bar/restaurant for a meal. It...

Looks like a great pub on the outside but lacks charm or character on the inside. The food is poor and it would be better to go hungry. The small actual bar area leaves you standing next to diners if you are there for a drink. A great pity. This place has potential.

Near Glen Affric the Tomich hotel is the perfect location to explore the area. The owners are charming and very helpful. There is a lovely atmosphere in the place. The rooms are big enough and quirky. Not first class, but cosy and clean. The atmosphere in the pub and the pub food are very good.
