Wonderful setting, easy access to the "bright lights" of Inverness, great room, very special restaurant and attentive, knowledgeable but non intrusive staff. Cannot wish for much more. Oh and it snowed, turning the whole into a winter wonderland!

We have just returned from a shirt break at the hotel with our 2 sons and their partners. We had a really cool and relaxing time - hotel was cosy, food was excellent and all stuff unbelievably friendly and helpful. In particular, Gillian exceptionally accommodating and a great ambassador for the hotel. Whilst the hotel does not offer leisure facilities,...

The hotel isn't cheap (although look out for deals, rooms were going for £88 over the Xmas break), but it's a very nice place to stay. The service was superb, there is a nice foyer lounge in which to while away the hours, and the good is good. It's also quiet ~ so I had a good night's sleep. I...

Myself and wife booked a party night at the Drumossie Hotel with an overnight stay included, We arrived approx. 16.30 and proceeded to check in, The receptionist was very polite, friendly and helpful, room 220 was allocated to us, This was a high quality large room with nice furnishings that looked onto the hotel grounds, It also had a large...

Attended a festive "Bring a Party to a Party" function at this large 4* hotel. Had accommodation for the night also. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, lovely well equipped clean rooms. The entertainment was first class , a "Commitments" style band who had folk on the dance floor all night. Unfortunately dining experience for large catered events seems not to be...

Thank you for your recent review, we were pleased to read that for the most part you enjoyed your stay with us. With regards to your dining experience in our Drumossie Suite I am disappointed to read that you felt that your Brussel sprouts were undercooked however I hope you can appreciate how challenging when catering for over 300 guests,...

We enjoyed the elegant atmosphere and the delicious dinner in the flawless restaurant. Compliments to the cook for his skills and flexibility. Nice clean rooms although somewhat tired. Friendly staff ready to help when asked. What we did miss was a pool and we almost missed the hotel itself as everyone - including the GPS - is using the old...

Situated on what was once the main road south from Inverness, this large and impressive between-wars hotel has been completely upgraded in every respect. It's very well signposted and easy to find and has one enormous advantage which other hotels in Inverness lack -- plenty of well-designed parking. Very popular for conferences and weddings, its size allows several such to...

3 of us stayed here to celebrate our birthdays, we had a triple room in the eaves but it was spacious enough and the ensuite was huge with a bath and a separate shower too. We were on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, dinner was succulent, the house white was delicious and served chilled in an ice bucket. The...

My sister got married here and hearing about other weddings here we were excited. Communication was a massive problem, the lady organising the wedding was actually away on holiday so another man took over organisation but he was going to be away at the time of the wedding, also. The meal was not what they had previously tried and agreed...

On reading your comments, I had not been made aware of any issues such as these at any wedding that we have hosted. We have not had any such feedback from any bride and groom following a wedding. We pride ourselves in being professional and attentive at all times and have a very good reputation with regard to weddings. When...
