The Quaich is a gem. The welcome was wonderfully warm and friendly, our room - the twin in the picture, a cosy converted loft full of light at the top of the house. The house is deceptively spacious, renovated with thought and love, a blend of original wood floors, mantles, doors etc. with tasteful art and decor. All rooms except... More

Very clean b&b with friendly management, our room was of a standard size with small ensuite. The bed was quite hard and not to my liking, also the amenities (kettle etc) seemed quite cheap which was disappointing considering the room tariff. You can't beat the location though and all in all it was a pleasant stay.

The Quaich was only an 8 minute walk from the train station, and a real treat to stay in. My room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The manager was really friendly and helpful...his daughters are also very sweet! Thank you.

Pleasantly surprised! The welcome was superb and the quaint little house was deceptively spacious! Nothing seemed too much for the Canadian owner-manager who was unobtrusively available to make the stay pleasant. He even "dressed" for breakfast! With free street parking outside and literally a stones-throw from the hustle & bustle of Inverness you simply won't go wrong with this place.

Quiet, so comfortable, so clean and absolutely wonderful service. Fresh pancakes for breakfast. Inverness was 99% booked up but the Quaich had a last minute cancellation and was very happy to have us, despite being so busy. Hotels were charging £180 per night, we only paid £80 with breakfast included. Arafeh treats everyone like long-lost friends and has great fashion... More

This was a very comfortable B&B with a great location in walking distance to restaurants and city sights. The proprietor was welcoming, helpful and just extremely pleasant. We were very happy with our luck in picking this B&B out of the many choices.

I spent a night here in a tidy and comfortable single room, and bathroom is clean too. The most important thing is, I left my shirt in the wardrobe, and the host send it back to me immediately without asking me for a charge, truly appreciate that! Just a remainder there has no private parking space, however it's not a... More

Really friendly, great location, rooms were clean, and breakfast was huge. Cut the breakfast in half the second day and my kids still could not finish all of it. Very likely to return here next time we visit Inverness.

We booked this place to spend 3 days in Inverness after hiking over the Highlands. The house is in the city center, close by the river Ness. Our room was upstairs, very cosy and clean with good wifi connection. Arafeh took a good care of us, he was very nice and smiling all the time. Breakfast was great and on... More
