We had one night at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel , after an 11 hour drive from Devon. It was a little bit tricky to find in the dark but once we had found it we weren't disappointed. As we had a dog with us we stayed in one of the garden cottages, literally two minutes walk down the...

A very nice hotel with a great view and a Lovely breakfast. The staff where friendly and helpful. The room was nice if a little cold but an extra electric heater was supplied. Room service menu was a little limited as they were having problems with a fridge but the sandwiches supplied were good. All in all a very good...

Stopped off overnight here and what a magical place it is. After an 11-hour journey I was pleased to be welcomed by very friendly staff and fantastic food. The building is magnificent! Wish I was staying a bit longer. I will definitely return. Thank you.

Visited yesterday with friends and had the three course lunch menu. Limited choice of courses but excellent food, I had the partridge as a starter and venison as the main course, beautifully cooked and well presented. The desert took a little while to be served as it appeared that staff were busy with a funeral tea, and appeared slightly frozen...

This trip was bought for my wife and I to celebrate my birthday. A weekend in the Highlands. There were four of us in our party and from the moment we arrived to the minute we left the hotel was a delight. John, who greeted us on reception (apart from his many other duties) was a joy. We checked in...

The Hotel website made it look appealing and we booked an off season package of two rooms, breakfast, discounted evening meals for four and a complimentary afternoon tea for four. We had two executive double bedrooms. The location of...

Stopped off here quite by chance after chartering a boat out of Inverness. This grand old house is set in the most-beautiful countryside imaginable, nestled as it is at the base of the hills. In character, it’s like something out of the set of an Agatha Christie novel, and you could quite-easily imagine Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple snooping around...

Myself and my partner attended a function here on New Years Eve 2016. The service and food was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is beautiful, set in a lovely location outside Inverness. I could not fault a single thing. Would highly recommend for a weekend away in the highlands.
