My family and I traveled through Scotland and we wanted to stay somewhere that really made you feel like you were experiencing Scotland and the highlands, a hotel that is more than just a nice place to stay. Unfortunately we were just passing through Inverness to Skye but this was a great stop and we wish we could have stayed...

We spent 2 nights at Bunchrew with our 12 and 6 year old granddaughters. The suite was a perfect size with a large four poster bed and a separate room for the girls. The dinner was memorable. The girls enjoyed the candlelight dinners with the view of Beauly Firth. Very enjoyable!

I stayed here with my husband for two nights over the Easter break. I was completely blown away when we first drove up to the hotel. It's not everyday you see or get to stay in a pink castle. Inside was a little different, it looks like many of the original fittings are still in place but then at some...

I stayed here with my husband recently while attending a wedding, we stayed in the Redcastle Suite which was beautiful, and it had lots of little extras, including lovely toiletries. The room was decorated beautifully and the view from this room looked straight out onto the water. The staff were very friendly, although we were there for a wedding and...

The hotel is boutique, small and located on the Lake. Lovely property, with beautiful garden all around and by a Lake. Great for walks. The room we stayed in was a little small, but they have rooms of varying sizes - worth checking before you book. As the hotel is small, does not have truck loads of staff. If you...

Property is omehwta of a boutique hotel, with a reasonable location that is around a 10 piund taxi fare from Inverness. Propoerty itself has nice rooms, just a sinlgle bar and resturant and is somewhat limited with facilities. Staff are great! Real issue is we had the power go off at midnight which does happen, however there is no back...

Booked this hotel as an anniversary treat, primarily booked for the location, great view and character of the place. Staff were very friendly. We booked a superior room and requested a seaview. The Coulmore room was at the top of the building, good sized room nice firm bed and fantastic views over the water. The decor is very much of...

Lovely setting on the banks of the Firth with easy access to Inverness. Very 'authentic country house', very welcoming and very genuine hospitality. Nice public areas, warm & cosy and comfortable rooms. A little bit outdated, which some proprietors think they can get away with under a 'shaby country chique' label. Some slightly quirkie service. All forgiven, will definitely return....

We went back here again this year and had an even better experience. This time we had Dinner for two nights and the food was excellent. This place is a great get away for couples and the service is excellent. We will be going again next year.

First of all I have to commend the staff, they were absolutly fantastic, nothing too much trouble for them and very welcoming. Hotel is in a fine setting on the banks of the Beauly Firth with grounds to wander around if the weather is fine. Room was warm, comfortable and quiet, public areas area also comfortable with open log fires...
