Stayed late February. Had a lovely evening meal, breakfast was good and the room clean and warm. Very yellow though! Service was good but they seemed slightly understaffed. Also didn't seem as if there was a manager working in the evening. Would return and recommend.

Great welcome and lovely roaring fire. We ordered afternoon tea and everything was perfect apart from my cheese scone (which had dried fruit in it!) the second attempt was slightly better but it was still sweet instead of savoury. They kindly discounted our bill and blamed the foreign chef on duty. I offered to drop in to show him how...

Just home from an amazing three night stay at this beautiful country house hotel near Inverness. The house itself is absolutely stunning, homely but luxurious, wonderful public rooms to relax in. The drawing room with its ample seating and welcoming real fire and the bar with its leather armchairs to sink into. It's the perfect place to escape 21st century...

We came for a wedding, staying two nights. The room was very nice, not huge and as many have noted the décor needs to be refreshed, but it was very comfortable. The whole hotel is very cosy and the staff are friendly and helpful, making the atmosphere very pleasant. The meal in the restaurant the evening before the wedding was...

My family and I traveled through Scotland and we wanted to stay somewhere that really made you feel like you were experiencing Scotland and the highlands, a hotel that is more than just a nice place to stay. Unfortunately we were just passing through Inverness to Skye but this was a great stop and we wish we could have stayed...

We spent 2 nights at Bunchrew with our 12 and 6 year old granddaughters. The suite was a perfect size with a large four poster bed and a separate room for the girls. The dinner was memorable. The girls enjoyed the candlelight dinners with the view of Beauly Firth. Very enjoyable!

I stayed here with my husband for two nights over the Easter break. I was completely blown away when we first drove up to the hotel. It's not everyday you see or get to stay in a pink castle. Inside was a little different, it looks like many of the original fittings are still in place but then at some...

I stayed here with my husband recently while attending a wedding, we stayed in the Redcastle Suite which was beautiful, and it had lots of little extras, including lovely toiletries. The room was decorated beautifully and the view from this room looked straight out onto the water. The staff were very friendly, although we were there for a wedding and...

The hotel is boutique, small and located on the Lake. Lovely property, with beautiful garden all around and by a Lake. Great for walks. The room we stayed in was a little small, but they have rooms of varying sizes - worth checking before you book. As the hotel is small, does not have truck loads of staff. If you...

Property is omehwta of a boutique hotel, with a reasonable location that is around a 10 piund taxi fare from Inverness. Propoerty itself has nice rooms, just a sinlgle bar and resturant and is somewhat limited with facilities. Staff are great! Real issue is we had the power go off at midnight which does happen, however there is no back...
