A real gem: very welcoming - the owners go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms have more facilities than you are expecting. Great selection of breakfast menus including vegetarian options. Right in the heart of Inverness - with easy walking distance to everything and quiet at night.

After our stay in July this B&B is recommended not just because of the title above, but it offers more than the usual B&B. The proprietors have given a lot of thought to making guests feel as if they are being looked after by offering extra amenities in the bathroom, the room itself, besides providing a clothes presser, shoe cleaner...

Richard and Nan have the best run guest house / hotel we have ever visited. Honestly if anyone is seeking guidance on Tripadvisor about a visit to Inverness they must put the Westbourne as their very first choice. We can recommend the Stewart Room with its terrific view over the River Ness and the food and choice of food is...

Great place to stay, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Only 2 really minor issues and they really are minor. 1. The shower room - on our arrival the loo had a little bit of poo on the inside of the pan and there was a long brunette hair in the sink. There was a toilet brush...

We stayed at Nan's B & B in July 2009 while on our honeymoon from New Zealand. We only stayed one night but loved our stay and the service at Nan's place. The accomodation was clean, super friendly and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. We stayed at various accomodations during our two months away and this was definately...

My wife and I stayed at Westbourne House for two nights during our recent 'tour' of Scotland. We stayed in the Stewart room which has a great view to the north over the River Ness and the street just below... slightly noisy, but not bad. The B & B is ideally located in the center of Inverness, just steps from...

Stayed in this lovely guest house for three nights in July 2010. Bedroom was very spacious, comfortable, bright and clean. Owners thought of everything from fresh milk for tea/coffee, shortbread and homebaking to hand (free of charge) and absolutely delicious. Variety of choices at breakfast - just about anything could be requested. Owners friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Would...

Stayed with Richard and Nan in their Guest House and we were made to feel like one of the Family, what a warm and friendly welcome. Excellent rooms, lovely breakfast, tasty treats in room and lounge. Couldn't fault a thing, everything you might need is already thought of. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

We stayed one night at the Westbourne. We had booked two rooms as we were five adults. The accomodation was wonderful. Clean, roomy and very peaceful. Had a wonderful nights rest and breakfast the next morning was very good. They had thought of everything that you could possibly want or need. We actually had a load of laundry done for...
