My first impressions of this hotel weren't too good - ugly building, smelly and corridors and a noisy room overlooking a pub, coupled with a check-in misunderstanding. However, once I'd sorted out the misunderstanding, and had a room looking the other way over the river, it was easy to forget the problems. The view was outstanding, the room was spacious...

This was our final stop on our trek up the Great Glen Way. Centrally located so very easy to find and close to loads of different things. Darren was on reception when we arrived, his customer service is of the highest standard. An excellent member of staff, very helpful and courteous. Our room was also very nice, very clean with...

Here for one nite as part of a Globus tour and suspect it will be the last from that company. Room was small. No luggage rack, nor place to open suitcase and use it , other than the FLOOR. Requested luggage racks and when placed in the room, really formed an obstacle course. UNSAFE-there would be no way to leave...

Stayed here for two nights in June. Location would be perfect for exploring the city, if it were not for the lack of decent soundproofing. Our room overlooked the street (so not a river view), opposite a very loud pub. I can honestly say I have never had two such bad nights sleep in a hotel. There didn't seem to...

Booked this hotel for the River Ness 10k. Had limited choice and forked out much more than I have in a very long time for a hotel. The hotel is in a good location right in the centre on the river. The rooms are a good size and the bed was comfortable but that is where the positives stop. The...

The Hotel is Nice and Comfy and the breakfast served is good and very tasty. The room's nice and all amenities have been provided well. As this is situated in the heart of the city, all the destinations are at a walk-able distance which makes this place more apt place to stay.

I found this to be a nice place. We had a large room with a beautiful view overlooking the river. The room was clean, the beds were nice and the bath room was nice. A wonderful nights sleep and rest. It was a quiet hotel in the downtown area of Inverness. I would go back.

Overall it's an ok hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in/out process good. The food in the restaurant was quite nice and priced decently. Rooms are well appointed with LCD TV, tea and coffee facilities but outside of the reception area the hotel is very dated, especially the bathrooms. It's not terrible, and it's a nice place to...
