Culloden House was originally a 16th century Jacobean castle and now it is a charming historic hotel. We spent few nights there in the fall and really enjoyed ourselves. Our room was clean, large and very romantic. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had good plumbing (sometimes its a problem in historic hotels, but not here)....

Comfortable, large bedrooms with modern baths. Décor could use some updating. Staff were extremely helpful with advice on day trips, even printing out maps for us. Breakfasts were fine, coffee not so good. We ate dinner one night out of three at the hotel and it was good, not great, but very expensive. The fireplace lit in our bedroom was...

We arrived at the Culloden House Hotel at sunset. Before checking in we took a stroll through the walled garden just steps away from the hotel. Beautiful and austere setting just east of Inverness and close to the Culloden Battlefield and surrounding beautiful moors. The check in staff knew who we were and had been expecting us. They had made...

If you want a part of history and outstanding service this is the place to visit. It is a place where you feel special. The room I had was outstanding, as was the bathroom and I was able to book a late check out with no problems.. I would certainly recommend this to friends and family. The Americans will love...

The hotel is good, but not great. The staff try hard however the property is a bit run down and requires updating. The excuse is the historic listing of the building but some of the furniture and carpets could be replaced, also decoration should be reviewed. Evening meals are expensive and the wine list is extortionate.

From the moment you walk into this gorgeous manor house you are welcomed and feel like Royalty. The rooms were beautiful and the service unmatched. We had dinner in the hotel and it was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone. It doesn't disappoint. I wish I had stayed longer.

I stayed for one night while in the area on business. Stunning building, warm welcome from the gentleman on reception. Large clean room overlooking the gardens. Evening meal and Breakfast were excellent as were the staff. Less expensive than a local Premier Inn too. Definitely would stay again

On the 15th of August my wife and I with our 2 bridesmaids celebrated our wedding with a beautiful meal and used the gorgeous walled gardens for pictures. We can not thank The staff and management enough for a day, we simply will never forget. It truly was the best day of our lives.
