On entering the driveway, it's impossible not to be impressed with the view. The long driveway that surrounds the central lawn, takes you to the impressive looking building opposite you. Surrounding this driveway are large impressive trees and a hidden away duck pond in one corner. I received a warm welcome from the receptionist and the check-in was quickly processed...

I booked a tour of Scotland doing the Northcoast 500 and opted to stay a signed night in Inverness - Googled hotels and liked the look of Culloden House. On arrival the building is superb - I even stopped to take a picture on the driveway...then things went rapidly downhill. In reception (untidy) there was nobody to greet me and...

Unfortunately the facts contained within Mike C's review are unfounded and incorrect. The facts being that the reviewer was annoyed from the minute they arrived that they could not dine in our main dining room with jeans, a policy that we highlighted to his PA on booking 4 weeks earlier and contained within his confirmation. The 15 minute wait was...

This small but charming mansion has it all; history of the last Jacobite uprising, superb service, beautifully and spaciously decorated rooms and staff that go above and beyond. If you stay you must visit the Gardens they were stunning and amazing.

This is en elegant and beautiful place to stay. Service is perfect and the walled garden is a great place to visit. Our room (14) was large with a working fireplace and a view of the front large lawn. It is perfectly located near the airport and Inverness city. The only small negative was the food. Although it was adequate,...

We had a three night stay at Culloden House. The Manor House itself ia physically beautiful from the outside as are the grounds. The room, while large, was a little on the tired side from a furnishings standpoint. The bathroom also could stand a little upgrade. All of that being said our stay was wonderful. The staff couldn't have been...

We travelled to Scotland in June 2015 and whilst in the Highlands stayed at Culloden House. We stayed in the Garden house which looks onto a private walled garden. The food was out of this world, as were the rooms. L'Occitane products, a HUGE bathroom (the shower is a bit tricky at first however), plush robes.....The staff were wonderful, nothing...

We were on a golf tour of the local area and stayed for three nights. The highlight was dinner in a private room on the first night, excellent food and service. Breakfast each morning was a little hit and miss with the service staff not able to get the order right! In general though the staff were all excellent. The...

We arrived at Culloden House and were greeted like long lost cousins. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. We had a 2 room suite. WOW!!! One room served as a parlor /lining room. We only stayed one night at beautiful Culloden House. Somehow we had booked one of the very luxurious rooms in the detached Garden Manse. It was crazy expensive, but quite a memory. It is such an impressive historic country house, upon approach, but even more impressive was the staff leaping out the front door to help us upon arrival. And,...
