We stayed at Daviots Lodge with friends over a weekend in October. It's really easy to find being well signposted and there's plenty of room for parking . Margaret made us very welcome and showed us around telling us just to ask if there was we needed. Our rooms were pretty spacious and very nicely decorated and furnished and spotlessly...

Had a fabulous 4 nights here at Daviot Lodge, about 10 miles from Inverness, in a beautiful farm setting. It's like staying at your rich aunties country estate, very clean, warm and cosy! Four poster bed, nice sheets, lovely bathroom - heated towel rack, and complementary sherry in your room. Yummy hot and cold breakfast selection, (even Vegemite). We didn't...

Lets start out by telling everyone how we found the B&B fit for a KING and his QUEEN. Took the tour of the home of the Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky which is called TOMATIN. After the tour.... looking at my watch knowing that I should start looking for a place to bed down, I asked my guide" do you...

What a beautiful place to stay, attention to detail, peace & tranquility & a very comfortable room. It was a pleasure to stay here and would again again. The sherry & chocolates was a really lovely touch. Alex & Margaret were the perfect hosts. A return visit is a must.

The Daviot is a lovely house and while the style is a bit eccentric (stuffed animals and dolls tucked around), we felt it was extremely clean. Upon our arrival, the reception was a bit cold and we were subjected to the owners disdain for her American patrons (Only Americans are ever late while in a foreign country and only Americans...

I've stayed here before whilst on business and I've previously reviewed this place on trip advisor. Second time around it was even better as I got to stay for two nights this time. I would honestly stay here as my first choice rather than book a hotel. Rooms are fantastic, clean and tastefully decorated. Owners are gems and do everything...

I stayed there with my wife and we could not fault the place. A small gift was placed in our room as it was our anniversary. Lovely touch. This was in addition to the complimentary decanter of sherry provided in the bedrooms along with with biscuits and chocolates that were supplied too. when we were struggling to find somewhere to...

Wow. Wish we had stayed more than one night. The room was large, clean and impeccable. Every attention to detail was thought of. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order. The lodge is less than 5 miles from both Culloden and Clava Cairns and about 15 miles away from the city center attractions in Inverness. Parking is free in...

Staying at this B&B was one of the highlights of my trip. Margaret and Alex are friendly and helpful, and run an outstanding B&B. I can't think of anything I would have changed, and they far exceeded my expectations.
