Although we were only able to stay one night at Altholdene House, we were most impressed with the kind and generous hospitality of Gillian and Andrew. When we arrived, Gillian showed us to our immaculate and tastefully-appointed room and then provided us with options and directions as to where we could find good food and beautiful walks along the river...

Stayed as a party of three single men on a motorcycle trip. We were greeted with genuine warmth by charming and enthusiastic hosts. My room was clean and the bed comfortable. The cooked breakfast was freshly prepared and the service excellent. Free WiFi was a real plus. The house is located within an easy walk of the town centre and...

We stayed at Atholdene House for two nights in a family room. The room itself was spotlessly clean, generous in size with comfy beds, not to mention the fabulous rainfall shower with an endless supply of hot water. The complimentary chocolate and scrummy biscuits were given a big thumbs up from our son. On arrival we were met by the lovely Gillian...

This beautiful old house right in the centre of Inverness gives direct access to all the city has to offer in eateries and entertainment. I felt a real highland welcome when arriving at this family run guesthouse, the owner was helpful in connecting me to their wifi and also organising our day trips. As I was part of a group...

While well located and adequate, this B&B was average at best. The rooms were small, the beds uncomfortable and the wifi didn't work in either of our rooms. This would have been fine had there been a common room we could relax in, as there is in most B&B's but there wasn't. Breakfast was a far cry from the home...

My father-in-law and I recently stayed at the Atholdene House on the front and back ends of a cycling trip we took across the Outer Hebrides. We were totally impressed by the clean, quiet, comfortable accommodations and excellent breakfasts! We also thought the location was a perfect launching point to all we did in Inverness - dining at great local...

Only one trip around the block to find the carpark, but that was our fault. Greeted by the host who provided us lots of information as to where were good restaurant options for dinner. Room was comfortable and spacious. The location was an easy walk to downtown. Breakfast was delicious! I would happily stay again.

Stayed at this B&B for one night recently. Andrew and Gillian were welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable. They recommended where to eat and visit and the B&B is very central to all your needs in Inverness. The breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty with fresh produce. Thanks for a great stay, we would recommend this...

Gillian and Andrew are the new owners of Atholdene House and our gracious hosts after our previously booked B&B misplaced our reservations. We were welcomed at our new place for the night, given recommendations for restaurants within walking distance in town, provided with lists of castles to visit, and served a delicious breakfast. At BPS 85, we received excellent value....
