Arrived to friendly face and easy and quick check-in. Family maisonette over 2 floors overlooking the pool (maybe slightly noisy for some due to hum of the pool noise and early swimmers). Great to be able to have the option of a swim and the pool area was clean. We ate in the restaurant - steak, fish, chicken/haggis dishes -...

Stayed at The Craigmonoe over Easter with my husband and my mum. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the rooms are too. The food is excellent, breakfast is buffet style and has everything you could wish for. We ate in the hotel for the 4 nights and every meal was delicious and piping hot.A special mention for the staff...

Great staff and lovely room.when we arrived they told us they had upgraded us to a bigger double which was great. Wish we had stayed longer. Didn't have a meal in the restaurant but breakfast the next morning was fab too

Firstly this place is. It dog friendly, dogs are only allowed in the room or a poorly lit side room in the evenings. Style wise it's a bit like a Travel Lodge but privately owned, the reception was warm but then the night reception plain rude! Food was average although the chef deserves a special mention for the 'over presentation'...

The hotel is good and the staff are excellent. The rooms are a good size but the "BEDS" are too short if you are 6ft and the mattress's are as lumpy as hell, the pillows give no support, I had three and my head still felt like it was on the mattress so "management if you are reading this take...

This was a very good choice, the hotel is a very nice mixture of modern and old fashioned which appealed to all members of our group We had a lounge bar supper on...

Great hotel with the friendliest management and staff. From the moment of arrival you are treated as special to them. Our room was both spacial and luxurious. The restaurant and lounge offer you to dine and relax in comfort. The quality of food is on a par with any first class establishment. Would I return ? Absolutely no doubt,in fact we are...

Just leaving Craigmonie and we won't be back. Our room was right next to the pool which meant we had children in the pool waking us up at 7am. The swimming pool is ok but changing facilities are freezing and damp with no secure lockers for your belongings. Pool was clean enough but everything around it was dirty looking. Breakfast...

This is my second time here for a birthday party. The standards were as ever high in customer care and food. Having asked Daniel our host to take a photo of the group he included this selfy. What for me sets this place from other's is the staff, and how they help make a good night into a Great night.

I stayed in this hotel for one night while on a business trip in Scotland. Really liked my room - it was very spacious. The service - especially the lad at the reception - was great, everyone is helpful and smiles, so you feel like a welcomed guest. I had to ask for help with the Tassimo in my room...
