This sits right on the bank of the River Ness. Such beautiful views. I got off the train and arrived around noon but they absolutely would not check anyone in until 3pm. At that time there were several of us waiting to check in. The room I had did not have a blow dryer and I asked three times in...

Booked Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. The room was excellent and overlooking the River Ness and across to Inverness Castle. The breakfasts were also excellent, however, the dinners were let down because the same three vegetables were served every dinner!!! One dessert was poor because the three Profiteroles were accompanied by a large scoop of cream - they already contained cream!

Old quaint hotel located on the river with views across to the castle. Rooms over 3 floors and like a rabbit warren. Some third floor rooms to the front is accessed by some stairs after lift to third floor. Room was large and comfortable, bathroom small with walk in shower. Small tv on desk in room opposite bed but adequate....

Would never stay in this hotel again. £107 for a room that was extremely dated and in need of decorating. Headboard was thick with dust. Room and bathroom were nothing like the pictures on the website. Breakfast was nice. Lovely view from the room but that was all that was good about the room.

Older place that has not had extensive upgrades but it does the job, the breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful, connected pub, beautiful riverfront locale (though a street in between, 3-4 star rating I'd guess.

Pros: Large Executive room with river/castle views. Location. Staff. Cons: Wifi - particularly in the bar. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I was extremely lucky with my upgraded room. It was a river facing Executive room - extremely spacious with a roll top bath. Reception and breakfast waiting staff were particularly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast quality was very...

Very good location on the bank of river Ness, clear a suitable room, we stay here for two nights. Across the river is nice view on the castle. Very short distance is to the centre of town and historical buildings. Hotel has own restauration and bar, around is many other restaurants.

Room was a bit disappointing being an executive room, lovely view though. Not great choice of menu in downstairs lounge however MacNabs was excellent and the staff in there were lovely especially Ben. However reception staff weren't very pleasant.

I enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. The castle is directly across the river from the hotel, so the view was beautiful. Everything was within walking distance. The room was comfortable. I wish the wall could talk, because I'll bet it's seen a lot in all the years it's been there.
