Lovely comfortable bedrooms and lounge with everything you need and many extra little touches in a very beautiful and tranquil setting. Minty is an excellent host and cook and you are welcomed as a friend. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review on your visit. Tripadvisor is an important tool for visitors and every review helps. I loved meeting you both and hope that you will return for longer than one night. Bertie missed you when you departed! With best wishes.

By far this was the best B&b we visited during our scottish vacation. The place was an oasis of peace and quiet, surrounded by a beautiful garden and outside the noises of the city. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished. Our host was delightful and made us feel like family; her advices for visiting the Black Isle were...

Craigiewood is a very wonderful house surrounded by the woods near Inverness. We stayed only one night but really loved it! The house is very nicely furnished and full of beautiful details, like those on home design magazines! Breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip and our host was incredibly kind with us, she even took...

Many thanks for the lovely words about your stay at Craigiewood. I am just sorry that I was not here to meet you but know that Margaret looked after you very well - I think she cooks a better breakfast than I do!! I hope to see you the next time you visit Scotland. With my best wishes

The Craigiewood hostess Araminta made our stay a good one from the moment we stepped out of our car. She greeted us warmly, welcoming us to her home. She showed us to a room that was both spacious and comfortably furnished. There is also a nice, airy sitting room with a fireplace available for the guests to use. The garden...

The Craigiewood B&B is set in a beautiful location and very peaceful. You are totally looked after by the very charming and ever so helpful landlady. I will certainly be visiting this B&B again on my future Scotland tours.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. It was very good to meet you both but I have to admit to feeling very envious of you when you revved up that large motorbike and took off for pastures new on such a beautiful morning - perfect motorbiking weather! Do return another year. With best wishes, Minty

Perfect welcome from Araminta. I would definitely recommend her home to anyone visiting The Black Isle. The bedrooms are comfortable and spotless, as are the bathrooms. The house is isolated but not far from facilities and restaurants. Highly recommended.

So close to Inverness and Loch Ness yet in the beautiful setting of The Black Isle. Myself and two friends stayed at Craigiewood for two nights, Mar 23-24, 2015. At that time we'd traveled for two weeks throughout Ireland and Scotland. Without question, staying at Cragiewood made me feel as if I was personally cared for/about during our entire trip. We arrived late as we had to drive quite a way and Cragiewood is off the...

“The downstairs room has two extra long twin beds and a beautiful view of the side garden, My 6'4" husband was able to sleep quite comfortably. An extra added bonus was the additional sink in the room, it made getting ready easier, and the tub was also very long and comfy to soak in.
