This by far was my favorite stop along our way in Scotland. The owner is friendly, bright and cheerful. I especially liked the informalness of her breakfast where we ate at a large and impressivley set dining table next to her kitchen. The rooms were very comfortable and appointed. The grounds are absolutely georgeous. She made excellent suggestions for dinner...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review about Craigiewood. It was great that you had a 3 night stay and, therefore, had the chance to sample all the treats of this lovely part of the world. I do hope that you return to see me sometime in the not too distant future. With best wishes...

Craigiewood B&B is a wonderful place to stay. We spent one night there, however, I would not have minded staying longer. Everything you can think you need in a B&B room was provided for. We arrived in the late afternoon and sat in the garden for a while and the peace was wonderful. Araminta, the owner, had booked the restaurant...

We had only one evening in Inverness, so we stayed at Craigiewood, which is located a few miles outside of Inverness. Mrs. Dallmeyer was so kind and welcoming to us. It felt as though we were visiting close family. A very nice breakfast, comfortable sleep and the incredibly friendly cat, Bertie made the entire stay very enjoyable. I will definitely...

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. I only wish that you could have stayed for more than one night and that there had not been 2.5 inches of rain during the night! Bertie wishes that you had stayed for weeks!! With best wishes and I look forward to a return visit from you soon.

Our stay at Minty and Gavins wonderful place Craigiewood was a highlight on our tour. It was the third station on our trip through scottland. We arrived and immediately felt like coming home. The woods around, the cats, especially Bertie and of course the picturesque house with all the flowers is something we will allways remember. We loved the peaceful...

Thank you so much for writing such a nice TripAdvisor review about us. Being a very small Bed and Breakfast - reviews mean a lot to us especially when they are as glowing as yours was! We so loved having you to stay and please come back soon. Bertie is waiting for you! With best wishes.

We were charmed by our hosts, their lovely home & grounds that make you feel you want to stay a good while. Wonderful breakfasts & conversations & helpful suggestions along with hand drawn maps - needed to make ones' way through the winding, unfamiliar back roads...but that's part of the charm.

Just over the bridge to the Black Isle, which we wanted to tour, this B & B was a few miles into the country--really quiet. Minty and Gavin were great hosts--Minty seeing to all our needs and cooking a great breakfast (including some local fruit and homemade jams) and Gavin getting out his map to help us plan our next...

We were delighted to arrive at Craigiewood after driving through from Doune that day. Enjoyed the leafy roads that lead up to the house. Charming hosts, beautiful peaceful, bird filled garden setting on six acres surrounded by farmland. Dinner down at the pub by the sea was excellent. It was a perfect base for our trips to Elgin, Inverness etc....

In spite of telephoning Araminta for a room at very short notice both she and Gavin were extremely warm and welcoming. Having the use of the very attractive sitting room and the beauty of the surrounding countryside would alone persuade us to return. Serena & Henry

it was a fortunate case of serendipity that you came to stay with us. We just loved meeting you both and thank you for posting a review on TripAdvisor. Positive reviews do make such a difference especially as we are a very small B & B. Please come and see us again. With best wishes from us both.

We spent two pleasant nights at Craigiewood in June 2013. To our embarrassment, we had somehow booked the wrong month, and were very late, but in spite of this, we were welcomed warmly by Araminta and Gavin. “The downstairs room has two extra long twin beds and a beautiful view of the side garden, My 6'4" husband was able to sleep quite comfortably. An extra added bonus was the additional sink in the room, it made getting ready easier, and the tub was also very long and comfy to soak in. By far this B&B had the best lighting in the bathroom of pour whole trip!”
