I visited strathness house with my 2 friends overnight and we were very pleased with our room. The beds were so comfy and the rooms were lovely and warm. We loved the little extras in the bathroom and the coffee, biscuits etc. The only thing we would like to say was that the couple that greeted us at the desk...

This was our fourth one night stay in this immaculate and excellent Listed Building next to the River Ness and opposite to the Cathedral. Only a few minutes walk from Eden Court Theatre and Cinema with its restaurant and bars, and only a slightly longer walk into the main shopping street in Inverness. Very friendly and caring owners determined to...

The room was small but comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the castle and river. Parking on the street was straightforward. Might be a tough spot for older folks with luggage - I don't believe there was an elevator, and we carried our stuff up the stairs.

House is in a great location with parking easy to find nearby. Our hosts were lovely - friendly and helpful. The room had castle views and was clean and comfortable. Easy access to shops, restaurants and beautiful riverside walk.

Inverness is really small and the hotel is near enough to the main part of town to see everything, we had a lovely view of the river and castle from our room. The couple that run it were really...

On the start of a week long tour of the highlands we started in her capital Inverness. We chose the Strathness House Hotel and it didn't disappoint. It is in the most ideal of locations, situated on the banks of the river and within 3 minutes walk of the city centre. The room we received was on the first floor...

We booked 2 rooms (we went with 2 friends who sleeped in a twin bed room) and our stay was perfect. The location of the hotel could not be better and the rooms were clean and tidy, even though the room decor is not very appealing to our taste, we were really comfortable here. The best thing for us, was...

Lovely building, close to everything. Right on the river, beautiful view from our window. Close to the cathedral and castle. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in Scotland. Very clean and comfortable room. We loved it

We found this guest house at the very last minute and they couldn't have been more helpful. We had a lovely room which was immaculately clean with a great river view. Right in the centre of the city but situated on the quieter side of the river. A beautiful breakfast with a good selection and freshly cooked to order. Would...
