My friend and I were on a highland 'mini-tour' we had fingers crossed when we booked this and wow! it couldn't have been better. Great contemporary decor, friendly hosts, brill breakfast. Brad and Jo are super, they even gave me a sponge and hot soapy water to clean my car as the seagulls had got a few direct hits when...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Avalon Guest House for a weekend away to celebrate our 21st birthdays and had only booked it based on the amazing reviews we found on here. We were definitely not disappointed, we felt so welcome and Bradley did everything he could to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. Our room was immaculate with modern...

I am not normally a B&B fan due to the image they conjure up of tired places by the seaside run by strict middle aged women! This place chosen purely on the back of positive comments on Trip Advisor was first class and delivered everything you wanted. A good base in which to explore Inverness/Loch Ness (or further afield) and...

Dear BabyGray Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an excellent review and we're really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. I see you stayed back in October and as planned we have continued our refurbishments. The bathrooms were completed in November and we have just recently worked on the Guest Lounge and Dining Room...

Good location to walk into city centre, but also not far for walking along the Caledonian Canal. Loch Ness a short journey away - loved the cruise along it - well worth it. The rooms are spotless and lots of little extras that make it homely. Nothing is too much trouble for Jo and Brad - the breakfast was gorgeous!...

We stayed at Avalon on a business trip recently. The rooms were lovely with everything we needed including internet links and the breakfast set us up for the day! The booking process and welcome were all great and I certainly hope to stay again on future trips. This is a great place for business or pleasure and is ideally suited...

During our short stay at Avalon we were made very welcome by the owners. There was plently of information about things to do in and around Inverness available in the form of leaflets and a booklet provided in our room, the owners were also helpful with any queries we had. The room was clean, bright and very modern which provided...

A short but comfortable stay. Friendly welcome from Jo. Room was modern, spacious, very clean and well equipped. Excellent hearty Scottish breakfast with lots of choice including fresh fruit. Overall great value and no reason to stay anywhere else in Inverness.

I'm always very wary about booking accommodation online as comfort, quiteness and cleanliness are so important to us, and therefore always pay particular attention to all guest reviews - it can only take 1 negative comment to put us off. Don't let anything put you offer booking this guest house! From the second we arrived we were made to feel...

I dont normally take the time to write a review because staying at one hotel is like any other but JO and Bradley have thought of everything to make your stay so memorable. From the moment you arrive they both make sure you have everything you need. Local maps and info on attractions are available free and they have even...
