Stayed here after supporting friend running the West Highland Way Race. Comfortable room and close to town centre, can easily walk to shops/restaurants. The family room also available at good price. Breakfast is standard Scottish breakfast, pretty good although i would prefer to have black puddings rather than haggis. :)

Hi. Thanks for the positive review. Glad you liked the breakfast, and we'll need to review whether we have haggis or black pudding! ;-)

We stayed here as part of a tour package after completing the whw and had stayed at 5 other guest houses over the previous day's so lots to compare. The steps up to the house from the road give the first impression- they're worn and in need of tlc. The welcome was warm but unlike previous guest houses our luggage...

Thanks for your review Paul. As new owners since the end of February we have discovered quite a list of jobs that need doing, including the wall and steps leading to the property. We do endeavour to put luggage into rooms, however sometimes (due to timing of arrival of guests and baggage) it is not always possible. We aren't a...

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Guisachan for 3 nights in total on a recent trip to Scotland. Phil and Carmen are wonderful hosts. The rooms we stayed in were comfortable and very clean. The Breakfast was great and we will come back again whenever we next get to Fort William.

The stay was lovely, relaxing and with a gorgeous view from our room! For breakfast we got all what we wanted. Continental or traditional scottish cooked! Both were delicious. The room was pretty and very clean. Thank you hosts!

We stayed at Guisachan Guest House at the end of our eight day West Highland Way walk, and this was the best welcome that we could have wished for. The couple running the place are an absolute pleasure and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Also, they make the best Scottish breakfast we found...

We were welcomed by the owners of the B&B on completion of the West Highland Way. They were clearly used to walkers and had everything ready for us for arriveal. We were shown to our twin room with ensuite which had a comfy bed, tea/coffee and plenty of plug points. The location is perfect with the town centre and train...

We had a very comfortable stay here in a reasonably sized twin room although the decor and bathroom was a bit dated. We had a good shower if a little on the small side and as we were celebrating reaching the end of the West Highland Way just arrived, washed, changed and went out on the town. Breakfast the next...

Hi Jenni Thank you for your positive review. Having only just moved in to the guest house ourselves, we have identified things that need updating and we will be carrying out refurbishment at the end of the season. Glad you enjoyed breakfast, and pleased that you found us helpful! Kind regards Phill

We stayed here one night while on a tour en route to Isle of Skye. We were put here by our tour company based on our selection of a "superior B&B". It's a lovely and cozy place. 5 minute walk to High Street, the shopping street at Fort William which is for pedestrians only. Along the way, we passed The...

Thank you for your honest review of our guesthouse. We are pleased you managed to get a restaurant meal as many places book up very quickly during the main season. Fort William needs more restaurant capacity! Since moving in 3 months ago we have been identifying and rectifying any issues we have found with the guesthouse. As you can appreciate...

Friendly welcome in a fine guesthose . Our room was small, especially the bed. Furthermore, a nice lounge . The guesthouse is situated close to the center and on the WHW. The breakfast was fine, but we had to wait some time because there were many people.

Hi, Thanks for your honest review. We do wish that the rooms were bigger ourselves, and if they were bigger we would have larger than standard double beds in our rooms! We are very sorry that you had a longer than desired wait for breakfast. It was a particularly busy breakfast service and everyone seemed to arrive at once. We...
