We came up by Glen Shiel by accident. We were looking for a place to sleep but in the whole area of Fort William there were no vacancies. Till we saw a sign with vacancy. I jumped out of the car and ran up the stairs to be greeted by Colin. Colin is very friendly and told me he had...

Our room wasn't in front of the lake , but just because we arrived a little bit late. I'm sure that the(really kind) owner would give us one if avalaible. We stay very well : nice bed , clean room, good breakfast (in front oh the mountains view...the owners are so lucky they see it every day!). Price : 75£....

We could see the fish rising in the loch while we ate our truly satisfying breakfast. We were warmly welcomed by Colin after a terrible journey, our room was the spacious family room with en-suite. The room, as the rest of this house, was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The views over Loch Linnhe were marvelous. We would strongly recommend...

Along with my husband and my sister we had a lovely stay at Glenshiel, Fort William. On arrival we got a very friendly welcome from our host Colin, which continued throughout our stay. Our rooms were very nice and spotlessly clean with lovely views. We shared a spacious bathroom with my sister which was no problem. At breakfast we were...

The view over the loch while having breakfast is marvellous!! Our rooms were comfortable and well equipped. We shared the good sized bathroom, but only with our son who was in the other room. No need for lunch after the hearty breakfast. Kind welcoming hosts.

We stayed here for one night following a recommendation from the owner of the B&B we had previously stayed in. The room was beautifully decorated and had a fantastic view over the Loch. The owners were very friendly and genuinely interested in making sure we got the most from our visit to the area. Breakfast was tasty and the service...

We were lucky enough to get a room in this guest house. The owners Colin and Shiona were so welcoming and hospitable and their guest house is immaculately clean. The room was modern, very comfortable and the breakfast lovely and served in a light spacious room with views over the loch. So glad they had a room left!! Would recommend...

A very nice B&B to stay in - not located in the centre of Fort William, but its only about 2 miles out of it. The room was spacious and very cosy, with a spectacular view, and the bathroom was clean and modern, although rather small. The host was very nice and friendly and the breakfast was really good, served...

At short notice and a busy time of year, August, I was looking for a room for 2 gents, climbing Ben Nevis nearby. I had been recommended to try Glen Shiels by another guest house that couldn't fit us in. Colin called me back after I left a message and we agreed a fair rate for bed and breakfast for...
