We took a taxi from the train station to the Guest House because we didn't realize how close we were - it was raining, we were tired, we had luggage, we're septuagenarians, the address (Belford Rd.) didn't seem specific enough for us to find the location - it was the right thing for us to do - the taxi driver...

The MacLean Guest House offers the highest standard in every area - comfort, service, quality, location and friendliness. I shall never look for any other accommodaton when I visit this beautiful area in future.

The MacLean guest house is pristine and very, very clean. It is perfectly located for an easy walk into town and to public transportation (both bus and train). Everything is modern and up to date. The morning breakfast was very good. The full-service breakfast is only offered for 1 hour so there isn't a lot of flexibility in timing, but...

The guest house is located near to the train station and High street, within walking distance to the restaurants and shops. It is a very convenient if you wish to take the Jacobite steam train. We did not purchase the train tickets in advance but went to the train station early to purchase the day tickets instead. We stayed in...

Ideally situated for anyone finishing the West Highland Way and/or starting the Great Glen Way in Fort William. There are numerous B&Bs in the area, and on my Land's End to John O'Groats walk, I did not pre-book any accommodations. Whilst visiting family in Fort William, we stayed at Maclean Guest House. It was a fantastic experience. Mark & Brandi Lee made us feel SO welcome. The accommodation was of the highest standard. The choice of what type of breakfast you want was extensive & the cooked "Full Scottish" is to be recommended. All staff were very helpful & friendly,...

This was my first visit to the MacLean guest house and I was impressed, the guest house is simply beautiful, finished to a very high standard, very friendly with helpful owners, excellent breakfast I loved the location of the guest house, close enough for the heart of Fort William ( less then a 5 minute walk) yet still remains enough...

We had a wonderful visit. Very clean, great food. Highly recommend this guest house. Its situated in a wonderful location with many excellent hiking trails in the vicinity. We were made to feel most welcome by all the staff.

Stayed here weekend in june 2014, first impression of house was wow, this impression lasted the whole stay. Room was beautiful cleaned to a high standard not one thing out of place and was very modern.
