I would like to add to the praise given to Lochs and Glens and the Highland Hotel. We recently returned from a very enjoyable holiday at this hotel. On the way to Fort William we were travelling by coach on Good Friday. The traffic was...More
Our first Lochs and Glens holiday meant a 6.20am departure from Yeovil and a marathon, delay-ridden journey that meant we did not arrive at Fort William until after 8pm and no food until 9pm. After this our only wish was to get some sleep and...More

We travelled from Dorset and a 'feeder driver' took us onto the M6 where our driver for the week took over. Both friendly and knowledgeable. You cannot make the journey from the South to Scotland any shorter than it is and the M6 can be a bit of a 'car park'. Regular stops give you a break and the view from high up in the luxury coaches is fantastic. All the hotels are really excellant although there are some limitation in what they can do with the older more traditional hotels however the standards are very high and you are really looked after without feeling you have been 'packaged'. It is an amazing formula and everyone who experiences a L & G holiday becomes a fan. We are already booked for our 7th holiday and will have stayed at all the hotels. Go for it and have a GREAT time!
