My friend and me were on a road trip in Scotland from Edinburgh to Inverness and Fort Williams was one of the night-stops. Fort williams was indeed a beautiful place but Lawriestone guest house was a better experience. Rooms: The rooms were small but beautifully done. We didn't feel like spoiling the decor of the room, even the bed linen!...

I've been in the residence for one night, the house is big and beautiful but the room they gave us was tiny. They serve breakfast as everywhere else in Scotland, since Fort William has a large choice of B&B I expected something better. The lady who let us in was nice but her husband was pretty grumpy. The rule is...

My brother and I stayed here for one night in July 2016. We found our rooms to both be very comfortable and clean. The showers were a bit poor in terms of water pressure...it just trickled out. But did the job. The bed was big, grand-looking and very comfortable - just what I needed after climbing Ben Nevis. The 'Scottish...

We stopped here for one night in our way to applecross. Breakfast was good, room clean and comfortable. They didn't do evening meals but were happy to give suggestions. The town centre was about a 10min brisk walk. Free wifi that was relatively fast. Nice view from our room, over the river. The only thing was that the kettle was...

This b&b is located about 10 minutes walk from Fort William centre, has a lovely garden and a great sea view. Our room was of a good size and faultless cleanliness. Our only criticism was regarding breakfast - the set time of 8.30 and the fixed cooked breakfast I.e. we weren't offered the choice of items. Other than that, we...

From the minute you walk in the door you are made welcome. Lawriestone is a superb place to stay. An excellent breakfast was served by Jim and Susan. Their attention to detail and well run guest house could not be faulted. If we are ever in Fort William again this is where we would like to stay.

A great spot - quiet and gracious. Lovely rooms, friendly hosts and guests. All beautifully done. Only comment is that the towels and sheets are minimum acceptable in size - quality is very good. (and am glad that I am tiny and had cut my long hair off)

The view from this position is stunning, set on the bank of the Loch. Breakfast great & owners charming. Decor was tasteful. Would like to return one day soon.We had a back room which was beautifully decorated and hope to return and book a Loch view.

The house looked lovely on the outside. Bedroom with a view of the bins, same price as those fronting on to Loch. Paper thin duvets and radiator struggling to give off much heat, just as well we took hot water bottles. As for the breakfast ( we didn't find the menu/info booklet till we were due to leave) (hidden away)...

We had a lovely room overlooking the Loch. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of free parking. Lots of choice for places to eat. The breakfast was very nice. The hosts were friendly.
