Checked in with elderly parents with mobility problems. Lovely friendly receptionist who help with the cases to the rooms. Could not fault the food and friendly service. Clean tidy rooms with good views. My only negative the walls being too thin and hearing the people...More
The views across the loch are stunning - everything you would want from the Highlands. The hotel is situated on the edge of Fort William which gives town amenities but the seclusion of the country. Great food and bar.
Bus depot is next to train station and complete opposite end of town from Macduff. Bus goes past hotel door. We used the normal commuter train to Mallaig (£11 return) and it also stops at the Glenfinnan tower for photos... More
