I stayed here when I had finished the WHW. It was a bit far from the centre of Fort William, as I'd already walked 16 miles and then had to walk quite a bit further, but that was my own fault. the welcome was reasonably friendly. The room was comfortable, though the decor was a little dated. I chose the...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clan MacDuff at the end of May. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed both breakfast and evening meals there as we received so much help regarding our food allergies/intolerances. Our room, with a lovely view over the loch, was clean and comfortable. In fact, we enjoyed our two nights there so much that...

This is a very nice hotel. It is quite aged but in good condition with new carpets. The view from lounge and restaurant is just breathtaking and the morning meal tastes much better with such view. The location is little bit far from the centre but is not an issue as there is a restaurant and bar serving evening meals till...

The website misleads you to believe it's a more modern hotel than it actually is. We spent far more than comparable hotels in the area. The front desk lady was not welcoming or helpful and only did as much (or less) as asked. Our room was kitschy, clean and comfortable, only somewhat lacking in hotel amenities for the higher price....

A traditional Scottish hotel, with small, well-appointed rooms. Attention to detail is evident. The sheets were crisp and clean. The bathroom was bright and well-maintained, with a good, hot shower and separate space heater. The wardrobe and drawers were adequately spacious. A local map of streets was provided on the desk. My window had a view of the loch. The...

After 10 days touring the Highlands this was our best B&B stay and the hotel had an amalgamation of all that we found best in our previous 5 properties. We had a loch facing room with a balcony, a comfy bed, 2 armchairs and all the room we could want. The staff were very good and as there were 4...

This hotel has shares in a Tartan carpet company I'm sure! Very professional staff and beautifully clean rooms. My only gripe would be the very ordinary food. Also it seems to be a problem Scotland wide to fry everything in as much oil as possible........I would however use this hotel again.

Stayed one night. Had nice view to loch from our room. Food was pretty good at the hotel but went to eat at 8:15 on a Friday night and couldn't get in to dining room. Had to eat at bar. Allowed our dogs to be with us in hotel, so that was a plus. Comfortable room. Would recommend.
