This is a lovely B & B within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and train station. We had a large room with a lovely big bathroom. The owner is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and staff pleaant. There is a good reference book giving details of local restaurants etc. We ate in the Indian nearest the house...

In addition to this building's special history -- visit the museum in town for more on this -- and its location on the edge of Fort William and its view of the loch, what really makes this place special are its owners. They are just very nice and very willing to help and advise in anyway they are asked... the...

We had a wonderful stay at Glentower Lower Observatory this summer. Perfect location - 5 minute walk to the centre of Fort William, whilst having lovely views of Loch Linnhe. We stayed in a superior king size room, with a view of the garden at the back of the property, which was pretty. The room was tastefully decorated, with a...

Glentower Lower Observatory is situated by Loch Linnhe. A beautiful building with ample parking space. We were given a very warm welcome by the owner who showed us to our room in the annexe (Portree). This had a lovely view over Loch Linnhe. The room itself was small but beautifully furnished. Breakfast was served in the lovely breakfast room by...

Glentower Lower Observatory is a beautiful Victorian building overlooking Loch Linnhe. We stayed in room 2, the Linnhe suite, and it was absolutely perfect. The room was massive, with two single beds and a double, yet there was still masses of space. The bathroom was also massive and very well equipped. We would have preferred the lighting, in the bathroom,...

Glentower is a beautiful, 5-minute walk to downtown Fort William. The building has a fascinating history, and is incredibly kept. The view of Loch Linnhe across the street had me sitting every morning and evening on the front porch with wine (I'll miss that). The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms had great views, were very clean,...

Lovely wee b and b. Made me change my mind about them, as usually I hate b&bs as they can be grim and depressing, but the Observatory is chic, romantic and well worth the price. Underfloor heating in the bathroom, nice towels and lovely products. The room was spacious and well furnished with memory foam mattress and nice bedding. Nice...

The location of this guesthouse is awesome. Waterfront location with friendly and helpful host is the best combo. The breakfast in the morning was very good. You can walk to the city center and the walk itself is breathtaking. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Our room was the newly renovated family room in the first floor and it...

Whilst travelling in Scotland we had the pleasure of staying in the Glentower Guest house. When booking I was impressed by the imposing house which stands on a slightly elevated site with views across Loch Linnie and only a short walk to the main pedestrianised main st with its many shops ,bars and restaurants. On arrival we were met by...
