We chose the Albert Inn due to its central location in Nairn, but the B&B price was very reasonable so we did not expect much. Actually we were surprised. We had a 'comfort' room with a large, comfortable double bed and an easy chair. There was a TV and plenty of drawer/wardrobe storage. The ensuite was tiny but functional. We...

The Albert inn is a place I like to visit with friends and family, great food & fantastic services. Both Lunch & dinner service, I can't fault neither, the chef cooks to suit everybody's needs. Not once have I had a bad meal in this place, bar staff are great also, lovely mannerism and work to such high standards. The...

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I sincerely apologise if you thought the steaks were fatty, we pride ourselves on serving the best quality steaks even though we only £10. I spoke to the member of staff who was serving the night you eat with us, and he assures me that nothing was said to him...

Perfectly agreeable no frills place to stay. Private car park, central location, friendly staff, option of a packed lunch instead of breakfast, good quality home cooked food (again, no fancy stuff here but good plain fare), clean and spacious room (although the central heating didn't belt out the heat, so good job it wasn't a cold overnight.) Great value cost...

Often meet friends here for lunch and we are never disappointed. They have an excellent choice of good old pub grub. You get 2 main courses for £12 and the portions are large. They serve fish and chips, chicken tikka, burgers etc. The food is excellent and served by very friendly, attentive staff. Would definitely recommend. Although I have never...

This place was recommended to us as somewhere that does good home cooked food. Did not disappoint. We ordered the fish and chips with mushy peas. Chips were home cooked chunky chips, delicious, ordered the fish in breadcrumbs which was undoubtedly the best fish we have had when eating out. Service was really good and the price was very reasonable....

The room was big and the bar in the pub is busy and well stocked. Staff behind the bar are good. However, the room was not clean and the place is in need of some TLC. The room was decorated well but the rest of the place is tired. Our car was parked down the side of the hotel and...

A bit hard to fault this place for the price as it was the cheapest place I could find. Checked in without a fuss by very pleasant lady. Room was nicer than it looked in the pics, not huge but stylish clean and comfy bed. The home cooked food was OK for the price, real hand cut chips and a...

We booked into The Albert Inn for one night as we were making the 3 hour drive up from Central Scotland to attend a funeral. The website looked good and we felt confident we would have a good stay. We weren't disappointed. Check in was easy and the bar was busy with pleasant locals having a quiet pint. Our room...
