The hosts are gracious, the rooms warm, comfortable and spacious, the location perfect! We could not have asked for a better B&B to stay in. The food was excellent also. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The 2 dachshunds were adorable and sweet. My daughter loved them.

Ali and David make you immediately feel at home! Lots of humour and lots of laughter! The room was comfortable and the bed was great! One of the best I have slept on in a guest house! Breakfast was yummy! Proper poached eggs!

Stayed for one night. Good location, ample parking. Very comfortable.Spacious room with a good size en suite. We were treated more like friends staying, than customers. Thanks to Ali for his hospitality and a special mention to Coco and Abbie. We did not sample breakfast due to overindulgence the previous night! Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to use again.

We three visiting anglers had the warmest of welcomes from Ali and David, excellent company and food (and drink!) and will certainly be dropping by again when heading northwards. Great rooms too, with free WiFi, and a convenient walk to the pretty town of Alness with all we needed for an enjoyable trip. Strongly recommended!

Three friends and myself stayed overnight on our cycling route from Lands End to John o Groats. Here we received the warmest of welcomes from Ali, a charming host, including a celebratory glass of champagne in advance of our reaching our destination. We were accommodated in four separate comfortable rooms and enjoyed an excellent Scottish breakfast. We would certainly stay...

A group of six riders and two others cycled from John O' Groats to Lands End, our first stay after a days riding was here.... We turned up to a great welcome, a crate of beers "we had to finish", a massive homemade lasagne with all the trimmings. The host was superb and the company of the two sausage dogs...
