First and foremost, the food is great. The quality, portions and variety are all excellent and we would go back due to this. Service was good and was dependent on who served you. The young guy was excellent but the older women just frowned and was abrupt.....customer service is important! The decor/environment is modern bistro style and very pleasant. There...

We booked the Tudor Hotel for a surprise retirement party on 17/03/17 and had a fantastic night from start to finish. We were allocated an area in Harry's Bar which was perfect for the size of our group and it was private enough but we were still able to enjoy the atmosphere of the bar. The staff were so friendly...

First of all I would like to say that the hotel itself is looking great.I was attending a function in the main hall and décor was really nice.unfortunately the service was appalling. Chaotic waiters who did not seem to understand what was going on and did not seem anyone was managing the sitation from the kitchen.Service poor and slow ,was...

Just to begin my headline is a little misleading as the lovely Arthur is not so lovely actually, quite the opposite. The so called manager Arthur decided to be abusive to my girlfriend who's only crime was to ask for a Wee shot of a tv for an hour or 2 to play some pics of her beloved gran at her grans...

My wife and family went there in mid -February. Four people ordering drinks and main courses. After 45 minutes the excuse for the late meals was that salmon takes a long time to cook. Strange that steak pie takes less, salmon of course takes under 10 minutes. One family member ordered Coca cola without ice. A large glass appeared full...

Lovely friendly atmosphere. No booking necessary if you are prepared to wait. However it is quick and reliable, a good selection of meals and excellent service. The dinning area 'bar bistro 39' has two separate areas and both are open if it becomes busy, which is frequently. There is a relaxing lounge 'Harry's bar' that has access to a safe...

I feel bad for writing such a poor review but I feel like it should be addressed. Most of the management were great as I walked in and welcomed my girlfriend and I very well.. As soon we sat down and had the meal, it started to go a little unprofessional. The management weren't around and the waitresses never seemed...

I attended a function here recently and got amazing service. The menu for function had one vegetarian option for main course that had mushrooms. One of party was vegetarian but does not eat mushrooms.... not a problem for staff suitable replacement provided. When they realised someone wasn't having a starter as there was nothing suitable... without being asked they offered...

Needed a meal following a hard day. Called in on spec in the evening. Plenty of tables available and the restaurant was well appointed. Fresh decor and efficient service. The hotel is under new management since I was last there 20 years ago and a lot of work has gone in to giving it a fresh more modern appearance throughout....
