This fabulous B&B was spacious, clean and accommodating. We loved the room, the location was 10-min walk from the city center and the owners were gracious. It was by far the best B&B we stayed at during our holiday (we stayed at 5 altogether!) Thanks

We were very happy with our stay at Ackinnoull Guest House. We got an exceptionally warm and friendly welcome from Margaret and Tom, even though Tom were busy preparing for the pouring of a cement pad in the back. The house is lovely and so was our ensuite room -- large and spacious which was needed as we were repacking... More

We stayed just one night at Ackinnoull Guest House in Oct. 2012. I was able to confirm a room at the last minute, and we were actually the only guests in the house. The parking area is right in front of the house, and would only accommodate three vehicles at the most. The B&B is on a busy street, but... More

Tom and Margaret Lowden run a top rate guest house. Every area of their house is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts served are both plentiful and of the highest quality. They are an extremely welcoming couple and very knowledgable of the local history and attractions. Local hotels and other establishments would benefit from taking lessons from them on how to... We stayed for 12 nights and the hospitality shown to us throughout that time was fantastic. Breakfast was 1st class and you could never leave hungry ! Our... More

My wife and I have just returned from a two night atay in Perth and can thoroughly recommend the Ackinnnoull Guest House. Guest rooms and public areas are very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very tasty and over generous helpings. We slept very well in a comfortable bed. The location is fine with the city centre about... More

Thanks to Margaret for making rewind2012 a perfect weekend. Clean, peaceful and very welcoming, this is a wee gem of a b&b, not far from anywhere, but far enough to be able to kick back and relax. Can't do enough, or make you feel any more welcome if they tried!! Beautiful house, see you next year!!
