Breakfast is 3 bacon,2 eggs , beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, black
pudding , all served to perfection, with no grease what so ever.
Before this there is a selection of cereals, yogurt and fruit, strawberries, raspberries, melon, apples peaches etc. In the room there are chocolate bars and sweets. We stayed on our way up to
Dornoch and on our way back.Ensuite double going up and twin
private bathroom coming back. Wilma would certainly be a 4 in a bed winner, place is spotless!!!! A big thankyou to Wilma's two
lady helpers. Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely spacious room, good wifi (and satellite TV - we didn't use), well appointed with tea/coffee with snacks all included. Superb cooked breakfast too! Only 15 minutes walk from Perth city centre. We shall certainly stay here again, being country dwellers, we kept the windows closed because of traffic noise was the only minus amongst many pluses.

We stayed there for a weekend and had a very pleasant stay. The host was extremely friendly and eager to help us with our plans in Perth. Also the breakfast was very good and the rooms and the entire guest house super cosy and lovely. Ideal place to stay for a weekend in Perth :)

Ardfern is well kept and well managed Bed and Breakfast with a friendly proprietor and large comfortable rooms. It's major drawback is its position on a busy road. The traffic woke us at 5 a.m. I would recommend asking for a room at the back. It is good value and useful if you want to be on the far bank of the town. However if you wish to be nearer the city centre, bars or restaurants, this is a little out of the way. It a bit old fashioned and knicknacked but it is spotless and there is a generous supply of sweets and treats along with the plethora of shampoos waiting in your room. Breakfast is better than most hotels.
If walk-in showers and low level lighting float your boat this is not the place for you, but if you want good value, a kind host and a big warm room this fits the (very reasonable) bill.

Stayed one night at Ardfern Guesthouse while visiting Scotland. Had spent the morning at St Andrews and drove the 40 minutes back to Perth to check-in after 4pm. Ardfern Guesthouse is in an excellent location, easy to get to, and very easy driving distance to other sites like Scone Palace. Our host was superb, every welcoming. Our room and private bathroom were fine, and the breakfast outstanding. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here to go to the races. The guest house is immaculate. There is parking and a comfortable communal lounge. The room was spacious with fast Internet, separate seating and bath robes. Breakfast is also great! Very homely and welcoming place, would definitely stay again.
