I spent one night at this hotel. The room was a little small and dated. The staff was very nice and helpful. An important point the hotel has small parking but you have to be there early. I will come back.

We have just had 3 nights in the Royal George Hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely room with a triple aspect view, comfortable bed and very quiet due to the secondary glazing on all the windows. Extremely good breakfast with a choice of fresh fish and

Just here for a night out in Perth; nice hotel, great room looking over the river; staff very polite and helpful especially the night porter who put up with us having a couple of late drinks - very much old style but nothing wrong with that, indeed wish more hotels were like

What is a nice room over- looking river.
We had room 17. It's a first floor twin on the corner overlooking both the river and the hotel garden.

I think it is worth you phoning the hotel. Our double room was very nice, large and updated but we were in a mini basement with no view at all. If you are not on the riverside, you would be overlooking the shopping street. The staff were lovely - ask if you can reserve a double room. Happy 70th!

Does anyone happen to know what room 55 looks onto? Thanks x
"Ask for a river view."
"No evidence of air con. My room was like a furnace when I entered."
"Best views at front of hotel, but quieter rooms to the rear."
"As listed building there are no lifts and so request low level room if needed."
"To rear of building overlooking river"
