Very well equipped, spacious cottage.

Good showers, plenty hot water, open fire - and to top it off numerous red squirrels visible in the garden out of the kitchen window!

The location is perfect if you want somewhere quiet close to Perth, you can be in the city centre in 15-20 mins.

Definitely a hidden gem.

We had a very comfortable and cosy week in this well-appointed and nicely equipped cottage. It had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Set in farmland with great views south the cottages on Cloag Farm are ideally positioned for exploring Perthshire and beyond.

This was our first self catering holiday & we weren't sure what to expect but it was brilliant & exceeded our expectations. Our plans for the day changed so I rang to ask if we could check in a bit later & it wasn't a problem. The cottage was clean & welcoming with a tray with biscuits on with tea and coffee on, a nice surprise after a long day traveling. Yes the wifi is iffy like people suggest but on holiday its enough to book things online or check the weather. The view outside is amazing and the place its self is peaceful only down side the red squirrels people mention out the back we didnt see maybe they went on holiday too! In a nutshell a lovely family holiday.

Thank you for your kind words. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit to Cloag Farm - the weather was pretty fine, which is always a bonus! The red squirrels find lots of food in the woods at this time of year, so they can 'disappear' from the feeders for a while. Many thanks for coming to stay with us.

My family and I just had a wonderful week at Cloag Farm. The context is extremely beautiful, the perfect location and the house was super clean (which is very important in the current circumstances).
David and his wife are the best hosts we have ever had! Super supportive, flexible and friendly.
We will definitely be back ... Scotland and Cloag Farm deserve it!

Thanks a lot!!!
Veronica

Outstanding little cottage, very cosy, beautiful decor. Perfect location for us and our dogs, lots of dogs walks straight from the cottage. Owners are great and left a lovely little care package in the cottage. Would highly recommend. We would definitely return.

My husband, myself and small dog recently stopped in West Cottage at Cloag Farm for a week. The cottage was traditionally furnished, and was lovely and clean. Wifi was efficient for our needs. Great that we could park directly outside the cottage. The view from the front door was amazing. David was very pleasant to speak to. We would recommend and would stop again with no hesitation.

Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. The view looking south is amazing - we are lucky to see it every day, and it changes through the year - green just now, but golden at harvest time. Thank you for staying with us at Cloag Farm Cottages.

We spent a lovely 4 nights in this beautiful cottage. I am originally from Perth, but the views and surrounding scenery were still beautiful to me. The cottage was well equipped; the free range eggs and locally made shortbread biscuits were very much appreciated and my children made good use of the games and outdoor toys provided. Would definitely recommend to other families or couples looking for a quiet break in a stunning location.

This was our 5th or 6th visit to Cloag Farm Cottages and as always, as a family with dogs, received a friendly welcome from David & Moira, the owners. The cottages are always clean and warm on arrival. Well stocked with all the kitchen equipment we need with bedding and towels provided and beds made ready for our arrival which is very welcome as we often arrive late. There are tea, coffee, biscuits and a jug of fresh milk ready for a most welcome cuppa on arrival.

It has proved a great base for exploring Perthshire, Aberdeenshire and beyond. We have never been stuck for places to visit or things to do - our boys have grown up enjoying a variety of options from gorgeous beeches, play parks, adventure parks, museums and so much more. As Farmers, we grownups are always interested in what's happening on the farm. We can thoroughly recommend Cloag Farm Cottages as a holiday hub.

Thank you for your kind review. We are glad that you enjoyed visiting Cloag Farm once more. It is a great base, as you say, with lots of different places to go within easy reach. Like many farmers round here, we are struggling to finish a very wet harvest, with the combine on October duties - never a good sign. Thank you for visiting us once again.

It was our first time at Cloag Farm Cottages - East Cottage was very well equipped - a cosy living room with wonderful views from the table over the fields and valley. Very quiet, situated on the road to the farm. Tasty shortbread and a tea tray were wainting for us on our arrival. Hope to be back one day! Will definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family.
