Stayed in lodges, light rooms but too warm at times. Kitchen had fridge and freezer but kettle too small and oven/hob temperamental. Some windows had problems opening and closing. Balcony nice. Garden nice to sit in on sunny day also. Food in hotel only average but expensive.

Nice hotel in an ideal location. Evening meal was fine but breakfast was very good. The room was ok although not with a good outlook. However, our sleep was rudely disturbed about 05.30 by a terrible vibration and noise that went on and on. At the reception,I asked if the room was above a boiler room to be told it...

Nice room old fashioned in keeping with the Palace. The Palace is a lovely building , there is a very large lounge area with comfy seating and log fires also a wood burning stove in the stags head bar. The reception staff gave us a warm welcome when we arrived, nice not to have contrived hotel speech, so off to...

Gorgeous, architecture, steeped in history. We stayed one night a we had been invited to a wedding there. The room was sleek and modern still retaining the original charm, Staff were friendly and they really now how to put on a wedding. Even the buffet plates were heart shaped. The stovies were authentic, flavoursome made from roast beef. Breakfast service...

Just stayed the weekend in this hotel for a best friend's wedding. Location wise it is situated on top of a hill with outstanding views for miles around. As you drive up the hill the hotel looks very impressive and its the same inside. The room was lovely, breakfast all you could want. The staff very friendly and helpful. Will...

We visited the hotel with my parents to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. We all loved the hotel which had a grand lobby and several open fires to sit beside. The rooms were lovely and the food and service excellent. Many thanks

My partner booked this as a surprise for my birthday and I was not disappointed! Lovely views, comfy bed, the interior of the hotel is just as grand as the outside, dinner and breakfast were both delicious, staff all very friendly and accommodating and the spa area is lovely and relaxing too. My husband and I have just returned from a two night break at the Atholl Palce Hotel. We often do this in March and yet again it did not disappoint us.The hotel was very busy due to a voucher offer, but this was not a problem,as the staff worked hard to provide their usual excellent service. What a wonderful weekend we spent at the Athol Palace. I went with my daughter and my friend who went with her daughter. The rooms were bright and spotlessly clean.
