Stayed here using an itison deal on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The hotel is up on a hill as you approach Pitlochry and it is a beautiful site. Reception was busy, however, the woman who checked us in was very nice and it was quickly done. The building is lovely with lots of really comfy couches and places...

What used to be a hydropathic spa, now a lovely hotel with amazing woodland walks, gardens and views. Comfortable, welcoming, relaxed, all generations catered for. Even a basement museum to its own varied past, as a hydro and twice a wartime boarding school. Fabulous.

Got a deal on line for a champagne 3 course lunch which I booked for 12.30. We stood at the reception desk for over 5 minutes being totally ignored by 3 female staff working in the next room (they could see us through an open door). I had to go to the main desk to ask why there was nobody...

Although I live in Cambridge when I visit my Mum I always take her here for Afternoon Tea so I was delighted when she told me they were now serving a Sunday Carvery. especially as our favourite place had been sold last year! We arrived just before 1pm (having booked, it was very busy) to a impressive table of juices...

Stayed at this hotel with husband and 4 year old daughter. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Restaurant was busy in the evening and in the morning for breakfast. However, staff very friendly and hard working. Food very enjoyable.

The ground and building of the palace are lovely. The staff were nice, incl. at the spa (good massage). I found the breakfast buffet good and adequate. In winter there are a few roaring fires and it's nice to sear there and get a drink from the bar ... which is good because I wouldn't really want to spend time...

I've got to say after saving money for a few months to come away to this hotel for valentines I'm left feeling extremely disappointed. I called ahead on Friday 10th February to ask what time I could check in at on our arrival on the Sunday and I was told 2pm (which was ideal as we could get ready for...

How impressive this hotel looks upon coming upon it for our visit. It opened up as a hotel in the late 1800's although it certainly looks like a castle of long ago. We spent a fair amount of time in the public lounge area where there were fires going and large comfy seats amongst a lovely old atmosphere. The property...

Nice grounds and surroundings for a walk. Check in was easy and quick but the Assistant Manager on the desk was not as attentive as the other gentleman serving another couple. Room was lovely, 332, with amazing views. A birthday card and fruit bowl was a fantastic touch. The room rate was dinner, bed, breakfast. We were not disappointed. Food...
